Can I get any NIT for civil, mechanical or CS branch with 82 marks in Mains and 74% in class 12th CBSE board?

According to CSAB 2015, I am not eligible for it.

If you are belongs to general category, then you have less chance. Otherwise, you may get a chance.

It may depend on your category and the particular cut-off each year.
Getting NIT does not depend on class 12 marks; it totally depends on your score, cut-off and the number of candidates.
I can't ensure you sure but you can easily get a government college in any state and may be NIT also.

You will certainly get a NIT but with such marks you will not be able to get a good NIT. But you can always try for the best dear. All the best for your future.

There is no chances to get admission in NITs but further, you can look forward to good private college (VIT, SRM, LPU NIRMA, THAPAR, AKG). If SC or St category so there is possibility to get admission.
    All the best.
