Can I get into LPU for a bachelor's degree in CSE without giving the entrance exams if I score 80% or above in CBSE?

As per the website of LPU, the admissions 2020, In order to get a seat in B.Tech CSE, the eligibility criteria is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics, and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or JEE Mains. So, with your 10+2 grades you are eligible to write the entrance exam of LPU which is called LPU NEST. As per my knowledge, LPU has not taken any admission in B.Tech without passing in this test. To my knowledge in order to take admission in LPU you have to be eligible and eligibility is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST so either you have to score more than 90% in +2 or 90 percentile in JEE Mains. 4 years agoHi Vivek, As per my information Lovely Professional University conduct their own entrance exam LPU NEST. In order to get admission in B.Tech CSE one has to qualify this entrance exam along with this the candidate must have minimum 60% aggregate percentage in 12th class. Direct admission is only e possible if any candidate is having at least 90% or more than 90% in 12th class or if the candidate has 90 percentile in JEE Mains. B.Tech requires a pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST^. ^LPUNEST will be exempted in case student has scored more than or equal to 90 percentile in JEE Mains or 90% aggregate marks in 10+2. So according to your score you will have to give the LPU NEST as it is less than 90%. First you can apply for admission and then book your LPU NEST the syllabus and paper pattern is given on the website of LPU.
