Can I get into LPU for a bachelor's degree in CSE without giving the entrance exams if I score 80% or above in CBSE?

As per the website of LPU, the admissions 2020, In order to get a seat in B.Tech CSE, the eligibility criteria is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics, and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or JEE Mains. So, with your 10+2 grades you are eligible to write the entrance exam of LPU which is called LPU NEST. As per my knowledge, LPU has not taken any admission in B.Tech without passing in this test. Moreover this test is not only entrance test but a scholarship test too. You can get scholarships upto 40% on course fee depending upon your performance in LPU NEST. So, it is advisable to apply on the portal admission. Lpu. In and prepare for the examination. As the university is considered one of the best ones for CSE. To my knowledge in order to take admission in LPU you have to be eligible and eligibility is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST so either you have to score more than 90% in +2 or 90 percentile in JEE Mains. You should be happy to know that LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI. Not only this, the Engineering institutes have also been ranked top 100 amongst all other Engineering institute which is a matter of proud. You can join LPU by appearing in LPU NEST which is remotely online proctored test which will be conducted from home due to COVID-19. I also heard that LPU do offer scholarship to provide financial assistance to the students: 1. On the basis of marks in previous class 2. Hi Vivek, As per my information Lovely Professional University conduct their own entrance exam LPU NEST. In order to get admission in B.Tech CSE one has to qualify this entrance exam along with this the candidate must have minimum 60% aggregate percentage in 12th class. Direct admission is only e possible if any candidate is having at least 90% or more than 90% in 12th class or if the candidate has 90 percentile in JEE Mains. Otherwise over the period of years Lovely Professional University has become very strict in their admission intake eligibility criteria. # if you have 80% in CBSE that means you got 80% marks in your 12th class. Then after qualifying LPU NEST you will get very good scholarship on the basis of your 12th class. As per the admissions 2020 The Eligibility for B.Tech is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST and moreover LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI. You can take admission as per the eligibility on the LPU website. The most important priorities of LPU is best quality of education and placements at great places. So according to your score you will have to give the LPU NEST as it is less than 90%. Hi, Yes, you need to give the exam. The eligibility criteria is pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics, and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. In case you have scored 90% aggregate marks in 10+2 or scored more than or equal to 90 percentile in JEE Mains (provided you have scored minimum 60%in 10+2), LPU NEST will be exempted. LPU offers different types of scholarships on the basis of marks in either of the last two qualifications, LPU NEST. Sports, Defence, COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship, and many more. If you are eligible for more than one scholarship, only one scholarship you will get is the maximum one. The best thing is if you get the scholarship, the tuition fees after getting a scholarship will be applicable every semester except for a few types of scholarships.
