    Dear Student,
    LPU offers Lateral Entry in B.Tech in computer Science after you have completed your Diploma. Eligibility for admission is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering. ) (any stream) 3 years after 10th or 2 years. After 10+2 (Non-Medical). You can apply for admission online. Fees per semester is 98000 INR. Further, you can apply for scholarship test, once you are done with admission. For more details: www.lpu.in

    Yes, you pursue B.Tech in CSE lateral entry from LPU after completing your Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. As it is lateral entry, It is a 3 years course, Provided off course you are eligible for the course with minimum 60% marks in your Diploma.
    *5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defense Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants)
    *10% relaxation to outstanding Sports Persons (I. e. A/A+ category as per Sports Scholarship), Subject to verification from Selection committee* of the University)

    You can go for B.Tech (Lateral Entry) CSE. The eligibility of the same is
    Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering. ). (any stream) (3 years after 10th) or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or BCA or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST-2017. Or
    In case marks scored in Diploma (engineering. ). Or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or BCA are 70% or above, then LPUNEST-2017 will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission.

    After completion of your Diploma in engineering you can apply for B.Tech. Lateral entry. As the eligibility condition of this programme is 60 percentages of aggregate marks in your Diploma engineering any stream. Therefore, you can apply for your admission in B.Tech CSE lateral entry. It will save a year for you. Hope this information helps you.

    Yes, you can pursue B.Tech CSE after your Diploma from any specialisation. I remember my friend has taken admission on the basis of his Diploma and he got admission in second year as an lateral entry. You need to fulfill the minimum eligibility scores in Diploma, which is 60%. Admission is already going on through online mode these days.     Lateral Entry in B.Tech is available in LPU. Eligibility for admission is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering. ). (any stream) 3 years after 10th or 2 years. After 10+2 (Non-Medical). You can apply for admission online. Fees per semester is 98000 INR. Lovely professional University is best place for B.Tech CSE. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. It provides specialisation also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, etc. With a great curriculum which is benchmarked with foreign universities.
