Can I take admission in NIT Puducherry M.Tech without GATE?

    Yes, admission to NIT Puducherry M.Tech course is possible without taking GATE exam. As per an official document, on priority, the institute offers admission via CCMT counselling. To participate in CCMT counselling, students must have appeared for GATE exam.

    However, if seats are left vacant even after completion of all CCMT counselling rounds, then the vacant seas are filled on institute level. For allocation of vacant seats, the institute conducts a written test and interview session.
