Can Metallurgical Engineers become a professor after pursuing BTech?

<p><strong>Candidates who wish to become a professor after BTech in Metallurgical Engineering will also be required to complete M.Tech and PhD in the required discipline.</strong> To pursue MTech, candidates must clear GATE and score a decent rank in Metallurgical Engineering. Moreover, to become a Professor, candidates must also pursue PhD by clearing Research Entrance Test conducted by the university. They must also write and publish research papers in order to strengthen their research proposal.&nbsp;</p>
