Those who have completed a recognised 3 year Polytechnic Diploma and have cleared state level lateral entry admission test can seek admission through lateral entry directly to the third semester of a B.Tech Programme.

    Hi Supriya,
If you have a Diploma certificate in civil engineering, then I think you are eligible to apply for DTU lateral entry exam which is LEET exam. Thank you.

Lateral entry means studying without 12th. The students get admission for Diploma/polytechnic after 10th. After that they can directly join 2nd year B.Tech.

There are many colleges in India who will be providing lateral entry in engineering but you have to qualify the JELET entrance exam for that and if you want to know about the college then tell me the area where you want to get the admission.

If you want to opt a government college for pursuing B.Tech through lateral entry, I would suggest you to prepare for (MMM) Madan Mohan Malviya Institute. It is a government college.
