    If you want to opt a government college for pursuing B.Tech through lateral entry, I would suggest you to prepare for (MMM) Madan Mohan Malviya Institute. It is a government college.

    Good colleges offering lateral are Delhi college of Engineering, Colleges under IP university-Delhi, Thapar University, College of Technology-Panthnagar, Uttarakhand, DIT-Dehradun, JBIT-Dehradun, MMMU-Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab University, etc.
