In the present scenario the field of biotechnology is rampantly growing. The biotechnology industry is witnessing good growth in the stream of medicinal research, drug analysis, recycling and re-harvesting of used and exploited products, synthetic management, cosmetology medical equipment enhancement, etc. India will have a competitive advantage in the industry since it is knowledge-intensive. I would recommend B.Tech in Biotechnology over B.Sc. In Biotechnology, as an engineering course will offer more variance of subjects that are practical and advanced and is a need of time. Whereas a B.Sc. Have vocational course only A bio-technologist, depending on the area of specialisation, can find jobs in biotechnology or pharmaceutical companies or in chemical, agricultural, and allied industries. Research institutes and laboratories provide good job opportunities for those with M.Tech. Along with a Ph.D. degrees. There are multiple career options both in industry and academia. The jobs that are opened for a B.Tech Biotech are Quality Analyst, Research Analyst, Technician, Biotechnologist, etc. Teaching is also an option opened for them. Biotechnology is a highly interdisciplinary field that combines biological sciences with engineering technologies to manipulate living organisms and biological systems to produce products that advance healthcare, medicine, agriculture, food, pharmaceuticals, and environment control B.Tech degree in Biotechnology encompasses both the biological sciences as well as the engineering aspect of Biotechnology.
