Hi,
You have raised a very basic question which comes in once mind before opting biotech. Many universities are offering both B.Sc as well as B.Tech in biotechnology. Both of them are pretty much similar to each other, but they have a fine difference that if the participants is aspiring to go for an analytical or academic career he/she should choose B.Sc. But, if the aspirant want to do some productive work, then he may choose B.Tech. Yes, there are many colleges like IIT-Madras for B.Tech, Chandigarh University for B.Sc, Amity University, etc. Since biotechnology has a lot of scope in India there are many colleges offering biotechnology courses.
