if you want safe career than go for civil and if you are looking for excitement in job than go for automobile.
warning:Automobile can makes you billionaire if you have skills otherwise you will be road owner.

Both are good scopes for the future.
It depends on how you are studying .,
If you are working hard then both are good for you
Remember both are totally different fields so think 5 times before going with any field

That completely depends on ur interest. If u have equal interest on both, then mechanical is a wide brand whereas automobile is kind of Subdivision to mechanical if u r very serious about doing automobile only in ur future then go for auto in btech or if u r not sure then go for mech
U can also do automobile after completing ur btech mech

civil assures you a job and the academics looks pretty easy if you are skilled in drawing. automobile is thrilling but has got a lesser chance

To be precise the scope of Automobile Engineering is better compare to Civil Engineering.
The reason is more foreign Car companies are investing in India to produce more cars to meet the demand. Also, few institutes and colleges provide training on Automobile hence, the competition is less.
