All the stakeholders of Education industry namely students, parents, academicians, government agencies, corporate/industry all seem to have very quickly started riding the challenges and opportunities alike. Educational institutes like us MET Mumbai) have briskly bridged the gap using cutting edge technology to take classrooms to students' home through virtual platform; so as to ensure that learning curve is not hampered and students continue to grow acquiring needed skill sets. Industry on the other hand has started looking for ways to do away with newer models of running the business, hence students with technical bent will be prefer

It is well said that real changes take place in a deep crisis. This pandemic has definitely brought a revolutionary change in our economy, affecting the livelihood of the people along with their businesses. The education sector too has been affected the most. But, we as a civilization has dealt with various calamities including pandemics, wars, natural disasters, and have always found a way to come out of these situations victoriously. I believe the only way to deal with this type of situation is perseverance and resilience. As we are all aware of the fact that food, clothing, home, and infrastructure will always be a men's priority. H

After going through some of the comments I realise many of you have similar opinions. I would request all if you to keep following points in mind.
    1. COVID is one off event and based on this do not make any judgements.
    2. If you use online effectively and for required activities only it will not create any problem. After that, things will be normal and offline and online will be used for higher education. More of offline will be there because of hardware related and hands on experiments.
    3. This is a right time for all of you to prepare well for your entrance exams. Do not waste time. Yours is the only batch who have got lot of time fo

    Hello Friends,
Yes, this COVID19 pandemic has brought great disruption in our lives. Lives of students are shattered beyond belief. But then such disruptions are indeed necessary to bring change in our lives, change for the better that is. But is that the whole truth? Whispers of parents, educationists and all those who are wishing for welfare of students are already announcing that all is not well. Some students are addicted to the internet and have immersed themselves in the world of movies and entertainment. Some have been curious initially to explore the net but were always short of time in earlier times are now suddenly have unrest

A global crisis which has brought world to a halt. Humans have got ample amount of time to re-think on the current practices. Educational system is more relied on physical classroom sessions. No doubt, most sessions can be moved to digital platforms. Reducing such sessions will definitely have positive ripple effects. A good time to think on the way forward!

Covid 19 has come with a revolutionary phase in the technological world. Now students do not have to depend only on the school/college studies, they are learning from the online sources. Students are now developing their other hobbies and are learning through internet in their own area of interest. Covid 19 has come with a better change in the higher studies.

One of the positive outcomes that I see of lockdown is that it has slowed us down and made us think of the outcomes of the routine learning process. So many of my classmates have joined professional platforms like LinkedIn and have resorted to building a strong network. The lockdown has also worked wonders for learning practical and actionable skills by providing enough time.

According to me, the post lockdown or COVID-19 will be a revolutionary phase in the higher education. As digitalization has given a foot print in the education field in a revolutionary way. There will more books, there will be more notebooks but not is physical form but in electronics form. Students will love technology. The era of traditional system is coming to an end. It is going to boost the education system directly. We should be ready to grab the jobs where data will be the key sources. Many of the colleges will surely change the classroom scenario through the medium of digital platforms to get more effective and efficient perfor

I think I have mixed thoughts about same. Today, we are using technology and infrastructure to minimize the gap between the teachers and students and allowing them to indulge themselves in academic activities but the discipline and sincerity is missing among the students which was there in the classroom to some extent. Also, the digital platform is not accessible by many of them living in remote areas and coming from poor backgrounds. To tackle this, 12 respective channels are expected to broadcast study materials and videos for classes 1 to 12 in coming days, which I think is a great initiative as per the reports from the education mi

I feel this is an opportunity for students and even professionals to enhance their skills. It can also be viewed as a relaxation period for those who have high pressure at work. Personally, what I have been doing is I am completing as much certifications as I can during this period and my aim is to learn as much as I can from them. Because I feel that next time when I go for a job interview the panel may ask me what I have been doing during the lockdown. I am also working as a mentor for Dweebs and Dogs which is a no nonsense platform dedicated to provide free advice to people in areas of mental health career development hobbies etc. I

It provides ample opportunities to the students to learn and pursue the skills or course online which will help them to excel their growth. Also, various reputed institutions provide various online courses either free or with reasonable fees. Although, COVID 19 has created a time of difficulty but you have to bring yourself to the positive way of growth and derive maximum benefits and give your best to utilise this precious time to extract fruits in the future.

Placements for the contemporary academic year are often over, however there can be a postponement in the relaxation of the students getting appropriate opportunities. The larger problem is the effect of COVID-19 on the economy and its further impact on employment opportunities. There may be a put off on boarding the students who've been recruited. The crisis has already caused a delay in the behavior of examinations and the announcement of results. This may similarly push the admissions cycle accordingly.

Everything has a good and bad. Covid 19 has impacted our education system but the sarcastic part is this that the system is still willing to take exams and not to focus over the studies of the student's, which directly shows our education system is more indulged in creating machines rather than innovating new ideas among the students.

Nothing comes with advantages and opportunities only. There is advantage and simultaneous disadvantage with everything around the globe. Such like that COVID19 is such one virus which has caused pandemic scenario round the world. Now we cannot overlook this situation and do nothing. Every problems come up with opportunities which are needed to be identified and utilised optimally. COVID19 pandemic has made all to think in a different way, to explore ourselves within. Its impact on education is negative as well as positive both depending on the way one judge this! Negative impact is that all educational organizations / institutions shut

COVID 19 is one off situation which many generations have seen at same time. Such things have not happened before in the world. Let us not draw any common conclusions for the future. One of the situations available under uncertainty was online classes from primary to higher education. Majority of the students have got an opportunity to learn new things, which is preparing younger generation for future prospects. The ideas of PUC students is definitely going to change when once they join professional courses. As many students express, definitely, only online classes will help better learning. Institutions and faculty also feel the same

I am not completely in favour with this point but to some extent, it is good.
1- We are realizing the value of education.
2- We are getting to understand the difference between business of education and education of business.
3- We are able to realize that we don't need classes and exams to cram subjects and topics.
4- I realized that quiet work is more important, having skills matters than a ton of degrees. There may be so many pros and cons but I am willing to read some good points about this amazing discussion programme by Shiksha.

If we want positivity then we will get it and if negativity then ofcourse we will get that. We have to use this time for our own welfare. No one will motivate you in this time. I don't think you will need motivation for doing something for your own good. This Pandemic gives us the chance of reestablishment of humanity. Nothing is bigger than humanity and nothing could be smaller than a human. You will do something for your own welfare. Otherwise, after lockdown you will have nothing but regret. It is your choice!

Everyone is well known that in today's scenario it is not possible to take or give offline classes and so, most of the institutions and individuals are using online platform. I think there is no need to make comparison between online and offline classes as we have been forced to face the current situation. We are using online platform not by choice but it is the only way to continue work in the current scenario. So instead of naming comparison, we should think about how to make the online classes more interactive, interesting and simple enough to make everyone feel that they are as easy and useful as offline classes.
