Various institutes have started online teaching so that the students' studies can continue. It is beneficial in order to complete their syllabus but when we talk about enhancing students learning, it is not as much beneficial. It has a lot of demerits. It hinders the social interaction between the teachers and the students. In brick and mortar classes, the interaction can never be hindered due to internet problem. In online learning, a student has to stick on mobile for long hours that adversely affects their eyesight. It does not give practical knowledge to the students which is gained through practicals performed by them in laborator

Online education is being used everywhere to ensure academics aren't stopped. But it does not guarantee the quality of education. For example some schools are sending videos through Google classroom, it is only the duty of the students to view no one else knows. Similarly, in the meeting apps like Zoom or Cisco, students can just enter the meeting room, they have facilities to disable audio and video. Even if you are playing a game in same mobile or even make a call to other friends, teacher on the other side will be keeping on teaching. Enthusiastic and brilliant students are going to listen and rise doubts if any, but we will just le

The concept of teaching online is helping students during this epidemic. But if this continues even after the epidemic there may be a lot of demerits which will affect the life of students:
    1. They cannot socially interact with other people.
    2. Education in online mode doesn't have any effect on students.
    3. They cannot know their strengths and weaknesses.
    4. They may become fearful to live in this society as they have less social interaction.
    5. With the reason of online classes, students may stick only to their smartphones which may affect their mental ability. Their learning skills and their productivity may decrease.

Research has clearly proven in the past that home-learning affects the student's productivity, social life, and their learning outcome. In my opinion, online teaching will never be able to completely replace the brick and mortar based learning environment because of so many inherent merits.
    A) Embrace Digital Transformation: Technology will be all pervasive & shall stay at core of any new disruption in every aspect of higher learning and education.
    B) Rise of Blended Curriculum: Digital platforms & online delivery will become an integral part of the future curriculum giving rise to blended Programs where core delivery will be in the fo

Covid 19 has forced institutions to follow education online. The small kids especially with such an early exposure to video call and teaching will make them inefficient when they will talk face to Face. A school is much more than teacher taking classes. Children play with each other, they fight, they learn important soft skills which will help them in their lives. Online courses cannot provide that experience.

Apart from all the consequences, whether good or bad, shouldn't we also think about some back up plans for smooth functioning of every sector in case any such pandemic strikes any country?

It has provided us a great opportunity where we can utilize our maximum time in self-introspection and improving ourselves where we lack. We have got plenty of time to improve and enhance our skills and have the best of it. It is also the best time to take ourselves to next level. It totally depends on us whether we use this opportunity to make the most of ourselves our just waste the time and repenting later.

Hello everyone, According to my opinion, there are advantages as well as disadvantages due to this pandemic Covid-19. Compared to before (means a year ago), now we are using technology much more. Due to this pandemic Covid, we are utilizing technology a lot. Whole world is relying on technology to do and to perform their work. Every sector is getting dependent on technology. Especially students, employees, etc. , they are utilizing technology like Zoom app, Cisco webinar, etc. Frankly speaking, from one side it is really good because our country had improved a lot. For schools, colleges, universities online classes were going on freque

Keeping in mind that the digital shift in India is relatively new, don't you people think that Indian colleges are not equipped enough to handle the change and transit to online means? Digital teaching seems apparent at school level but if we talk about higher education, I don't think it could be that engaging.

Despite the ongoing fiasco, the pandemic has given us an opportunity to learn and try out new things, which we would not have done otherwise. It has changed the education system and displayed the importance of technology. Students have been attending online coaching, taking up courses and even internships. It has proved that technology can be a savior during times like this. It has pushed us to our limits in a positive way.

There are many positive outcomes of the crisis. I think that no one's learning is distributed majorly as much resources are digitally available since some years and also I think majority of the institutes have started imparting online education which is very good step in the Indian history. Even there is good response of online internships these days. But there are some problems with technical education and its internships. But then also one can learn enough through available resources right now. Online Internal Exams are also taken by many institutes and it can be implemented further also during normal days. I think that there is also

The biggest advantage and challenge this situation has thrown at the students is to make use of the abundant time at hand for improving existing skill sets and learning new ones. I am sure the student community is taking this seriously and will emerge stronger with better skills than they held previously. But then ultimately it's the urge to learn something new, something worthwhile, something that will help in getting on with life in a better manner that will count eventually. Those students who instead of frittering away time, browse the internet for learning will definitely stand a better chance of getting good placements in future.

The COVID 19 pandemic will probably continue presenting demanding situations beyond people who come up in the direction of routine digital education. Even if this viral spread subsides, or a vaccination turns into effectively available, the shift from online training lower back to in character mastering may additionally create disruptions of its own adjusting again to higher standards of accountability, weaning off of phone-checking habits, and transferring comments again to tough copies rather than digital notes. Hopefully, these phases of hassle shooting can offer universities, professors and college students the possibility to pract

Every coin has two sides, while the world is busy focusing on the negative impacts of Covid pandemic, I believe there are positive sides too. No doubt these positive sides cannot in any way remedy the loss we are facing but it's helping us in changing our habits in a better. The education system has completely shifted to the online arena, it is making us quick and efficient in our work and also tech savvy for future endeavours. The teachers as well as the students are becoming aware of various resources available just at our fingertips. Shifting everything online has been a tough task but I am happy to SEE how schools and colleges are

The covid-19 pandemic has affected the educational system worldwide, leading to the near total closures of schools, colleges and universities. School closures in response to COVID-19 has shed light on various social and economic issues, including student debt, digital learning, food insecurity and homelessness as well as access to childcare, health care, housing, internet and disability services. In response to the closures, UNESCO recommended to use distance learning programmes and open educational applications and platforms that schools and teachers can use to reach the learners remotely and limit the disruption of education. If we talk about examinations which are not conducted this year as declared by UGC. I think some students would be happy as now they don't have to appear for exams but its bad luck for me, as I am ready for the exams. I want to get good marks than so that I can make my aggregate percentage good. Hopefully, the university will give me enough marks to make me happy.

I am from DAV College, Jalandhar whose placements are affected by this situation. Every month, atleast 7 to 10 companies approach DAV. It's a big loss for our college students as they are missing those jobs. Most of the students of DAV College had jobs in their hands before completing graduation. They were supposed to just join the job after completing their graduation.

As we look from placement point of view, many jobs and offers are kept on hold and some have been assigned work from home. However, for those who are yet to join, it is a really good opportunity for them to develop their skills in the required field of work. Students have been seen to enroll themselves in various courses that help them in the placement process and also fulfills their job descriptions. So making use of this golden hour in very important.

When we SEE the current situation, instead of loosing hope and seeing the economy fall there have been various ways students and people have tried to be more innovative and find various ways to solve various problems in the society. There is a quote which says A lazy man can do the job more efficiently in the fastest way possible, which I can relate too in a time like this when the brain is idle, people tend to work more on the positive aspects and Try to work on things that the society lags or requires. And the reason for that is what the Indian education and also the internet has provided.

First thing I noticed in this situation is this that college/schools are very helpful in education. An online class is not worthy as compared to brick class. This Covid pandemic situation has put the biggest impact on education. From my point of view, many colleges fail to tackle this situation. They arrange some meetings online which is just a waste of time as there is no proper interaction between teachers and students and also, it is a burden for those students who don't have good internet connection.
