I believe it does. The college rating and reputation have a decent weightage on your portfolio. Top-rated colleges offer advanced learning options, better placement opportunities, and so on. Even, many top recruiters around the world require degrees from top colleges like IITs, NIFTs, NIDs, etc., for specific job profiles.
