Yes, LPU offers part time Ph.D. in various courses. The part time Ph.D. scholars who have been allocated supervisors are required to maintain at least 75% attendance in the weekly interaction time slot with their supervisors in online mode through MyClass platform. In addition, part time Ph.D. scholars are required to maintain the biometric attendance for offline reporting in LPU for at least 7 days in a semester. Furthermore, it is expected that the Ph.D. scholars should visit LPU as and when required or asked by the supervisor depending upon the progress of his/her research work.
