Work experience can enrich a candidate's profile in the admission process at GIBS Business School, reflecting professional exposure, maturity, and practical understanding of business environments. However, this is not an eligibility criterion for admission. Freshers are considered equally and their selection is based on academic merit, scores in entrance examinations (like CAT, MAT, CMAT, or XAT), and performance in GD and PI. GIBS welcomes both professionally experienced and freshers to its courses to maintain diversity and strength in the class, ensuring a dynamic learning environment with a blend of academic and real-world perspecti

At GIBS, both freshers and experienced students are treated equally. Having some work experience can help a little, but it's not at all mandatory. Even I'm a fresher, and I don't have any prior experience — still, I got selected and am doing really well here. GIBS mainly looks at your interest, communication skills, and how willing you are to learn and grow. So don't worry if you're a fresher; you'll get plenty of opportunities to build your skills here!

    hi

Yes, work experience can improve the chances of getting selected at GIBS, but freshers are also equally eligible and encouraged to apply. The admissions process at GIBS is designed to be inclusive of both experienced professionals and recent graduates.

Candidates with relevant work experience are viewed as bringing practical insights and real-world exposure to the classroom environment, which enhances peer learning for the entire cohort.&n

At GIBS, the support for internships and placements is honestly very solid. We have a dedicated placement team that keeps bringing companies, helps us with resumes, mock interviews, and all the prep we need. Every week we have Finishing School sessions where we work on communication, confidence, and all the small things that matter in the corporate world.

Plus, we get real projects, live assignments, and IRE sessions where we learn innovation and even get support if we want to start a business. Mentors and alumni also guide us a lot. Overall, GIBS makes sure we're fully ready for internships and placements in a very practical and helpfu

At GIBS, students work together very actively for peer learning and group projects. Most of our assignments are done in teams, so we sit together, discuss ideas, divide the work, and help each other out. In class, we have a lot of presentations, case studies, and activities where everyone shares their views, so we naturally learn from each other.

Even outside class, we meet in the library, canteen, or common areas to study and prepare for projects. Seniors also guide us whenever we need help. Overall, the teamwork vibe at GIBS is really strong — everyone supports each other, and it makes learning a lot easier and more fun.

GIBS students are very active when it comes to organizing cultural fests, leadership programs, and sports events. Most of the events on campus are actually student-driven — we plan, coordinate, and manage everything with guidance from faculty. Whether it's cultural festivals, DJ nights, freshers, farewell, or themed events, students take the lead and make it lively.

Even for leadership activities, IRE sessions, and management events, students handle hosting, planning, and teamwork. Sports events are also fully filled with energy, with students participating and helping organize matches and tournaments. Overall, the involvement is very
