Due to personal reasons, I'll only score around 65-70% in 12th boards, is there any hope for me to make it through the interview round?

The stigma associated with IPM being associated with high scoring individuals is incorrect. Even though you may have a relatively low boards score, it is not a parameter to reject you as a candidate for the course, as far as it is above the minimum requirement for qualification. In the interview board, the score must not be a major topic of discussion, but serious questions regarding the low score can be brought up, where you need to have a good justification for the same.

Yes, there is still hope to get a call if your overall academics is better than the other candidates and even more if you belong to a reserved category.
Hope that helps.
All the best!
