This can be a tricky decision, whether to pursue a Diploma or a degree in engineering as each of them has their own relevance. A Diploma save your time as it is for the duration of 2 years in case of full-time and 3 years in case of part-time course and after the completion of your Diploma you are required to complete two years of in-service training before you are fully qualified in your field. 7 years agoBoth are tantamount of each other as degree provide you theoretical skill and a vast array of information regarding engineering while Diploma on next hand provide you working skill as you would be provided mostly time in working place where you will get work experience in the institute but the course material and syllabus is concrete and concised. Generally Diploma's are largely required by the company, they need working hand, at very initial step. While degree holders are less in quantity in company and are regarded as Superior in knowledge only but not in experience. -

It depends. Diploma focuses on the practical components of the engineering industry. But diplomas are suitable for a certain specific fields. You have more career opportunities if u have Engineering. Diploma AIMS to provide with industry or job related knowledge. It is 3 years course. Engineering is concerned with design, building, structures with applied Mathematics and physics. It is always recommended to take up Engineering for better job prospects.

An engineering degree is better than Diploma (certificate) because a degree has an in-depth knowledge of engineering. while Diploma is like a crash course.

Sir, I got 58% marks in class 12th and in B.Sc, I secured 65% Am I eligible for this exam or not?
-
It is obviously engineering degree. Since the main point is that today's world is more practical and technology-based, and it is only in engineering, not in Diploma. When it comes to technology, an engineer can only build or rebuilt it because he knows about the practical way, not only the theory part.
