Degree is a Course of 3,4,5 years duration after intermediate senior secondary 10+2th. Degree is of graduate level. Diploma is awarded for a short duration of 1,2 or max 3 years. Diploma is awarded after matric secondary exam 10th....Now the question is Which is better to pursue?

Firstly Diploma is a under graduate course and degree is graduate level course. Degree is better than Diploma bczz Degree has wide syllable and have much too learn. High level book writer and teacher are teach to Degree students and u will gain practical knowledge,6 month Industrial training will also in B.Tech. After completion of degree u can apply for GATE exam.

7 years agoEngineering Diploma is of no good if you want to pursue MBA, M.Phil or Ph.D. For securing good job also it is of no good. -
Bro Degree because it's value is international like MCA and also important that degree have in good college like NIT Trichy or other good NIT's.

If you are more practically oriented, then go for Diploma after 10th. Otherwise after 12th go for degree. Degree is better.

Engineering degree is better.

Also, in Diploma after 2 years, you have to undergo 2 years more in service-training before you are fully qualified in our field.

It depends. Diploma focuses on the practical components of the engineering industry. But diplomas are suitable for a certain specific fields. You have more career opportunities if u have Engineering. Diploma AIMS to provide with industry or job related knowledge. It is 3 years course. Engineering is concerned with design, building, structures with applied Mathematics and physics. It is always recommended to take up Engineering for better job prospects.

An engineering degree is better than Diploma (certificate) because a degree has an in-depth knowledge of engineering. while Diploma is like a crash course.
Hope it helps. -
Sir, I got 58% marks in class 12th and in B.Sc, I secured 65% Am I eligible for this exam or not?
-
It is obviously engineering degree. Since the main point is that today's world is more practical and technology-based, and it is only in engineering, not in Diploma. When it comes to technology, an engineer can only build or rebuilt it because he knows about the practical way, not only the theory part.

Hi Lalit,
I agree that Diploma is provided after matric, but Diploma only provides a particular subject interest, but with studies at the degree level, you are given a chance to develop an interest in other subjects. -
A degree is the best option because many other things which are often called basics meet at the degree level, not at Diploma, one major issue is that, job is not offered quickly and if you get the job then salary is low.
