A Diploma is equal to the 1st year of engineering. Engineering is better than Diploma. Engineering provides you with the in-depth knowledge.

An engineering degree is better than Diploma (certificate) because a degree has an in-depth knowledge of engineering. while Diploma is like a crash course.
    Hope it helps.

Both have their own advantage. The basic difference between a B.Tech and Polytechnic engineering courses is that a B.Tech is a degree course while a Polytechnic is a Diploma course related to engineering.

It is obviously engineering degree. Since the main point is that today's world is more practical and technology-based, and it is only in engineering, not in Diploma. When it comes to technology, an engineer can only build or rebuilt it because he knows about the practical way, not only the theory part.

    Hi Lalit,
I agree that Diploma is provided after matric, but Diploma only provides a particular subject interest, but with studies at the degree level, you are given a chance to develop an interest in other subjects.

A degree is the best option because many other things which are often called basics meet at the degree level, not at Diploma, one major issue is that, job is not offered quickly and if you get the job then salary is low.

A degree is better than Diploma because you can do Master's degree after completing a degree course and after completing Diploma you can only go for a job, but the salary is low.

According to me, students who want to settle fast and go through civil services, a degree is better for them. Students who want to do private jobs, they must do software engineering.

According to me, engineering is better as I have seen in some colleges, students after 12th join Diploma which doesn't make any sense. After 10th, it's okay, but after 12th, it's like wasting a lump of years of their life.

    Hello Lalit,
Both of them have their own kind of respect and value. Neither of them can survive without the existence of the other. Now the answer depends upon the perspective of an individual. Kind of jobs differs based on the fact that the person has done degree or diploma.
Degree holders get the positions like a graduate trainee, graduate engineer, engineering assistant, etc in the engineering field. After Masters in management, they can get managerial positions. In academics, they can get positions like teaching assistants, assistant professor, professor, HOD, etc.
Diploma holders usually get the positions like a supervisor, technici
