    Hey Janani,
Universities offering engineering degree along with other programs name it as BE and universities offering solely technical degree they name it as B.Tech. This is just an old nomenclature. Moreover about stream it completely depends on your interest however trends say that CSE/IT/ECE are the most job fetching courses in current scenario. Some good universities to consider -

    BE is knowledge oriented.
    B Tech is skill oriented.
BE is more theoretical and B Tech is more practical. In BE we study the reasons also in depth.
I would prefer to go for B-Tech.

the above answer is totally wrong.(Debajit Chandra's answer)
BE and B.tech are the degrees given by different universities.
    both are same.
few universities give the engineering degree as BE and few as B.tech.

Hello Janani, first of all BE and B.tech are same. And about stream, you should choose where you find interest in. All have equal scopes in their respective industries. Good luck

Hello dear, b.e and b.tech are the same professional degree course having two different name in different universities and institutes. Judge on the basis of the reputation of the college not by the nomenclature of the degree. Wish u a good career. Thank you.
