How are the faculties over there? Is it good?

The faculties are quite understanding. Though, academically, they will teach you stuff at beginner level. Some teachers are really good. In the first year, teachers will be associate professors, not highly qualified. In the second year, there will be professors, who are well qualified and experienced as well. Later in the third and fourth semesters, teachers are fine but at the end not that much capable to make you stand in the list of elites except few. Though, if you find any difficulty with regard to the faculty, you can consult your HODs and they work actively to resolve your problem. One important thing, don't compare the faculties with the faculties of IIT and NIT.

Yes, faculties are very decent here. They are friendly and have good grip on their subjects and streams. Now ,it depends on the learner,how he/she utilise the teacher. Overall, faculties are very good.

LPU believes in delivering the quality, for same and has hired faculty from the reputed institutes like IITs, NITs. The syllabus is vetted from the company officials of Cognozant, SAP, Microsoft etc to provide updated curriculum. LPU has its own space shuttle programme, where students and faculty members are working on satellite programme with the joint help of ISRO. Good Faculty leads to good placements. They mentioned that every year more than 550 companies visit LPU to recruit the students at very good package. The big brands visited as of now are Amazon, Tech Mahindra, ITC, Trident Group, KHIMJI RAMDAS, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Bosch, TCS, Nestle, ADOBE SYSTEMS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, CRESCENDO GROUP, Rallis India and several other firms.

LPU has more than 2300 faculty members, in CSE there are about 200 of them, majority being PhDs or Post Doctorate. As CSE is one of the most sought after and flagship program of university, there are a lot of faculty members who are industry experienced and have international exposure. 70+ faculty / staff members have been from foreign countries including USA, Slovakia, Germany, France, Serbia, Russia, Romania, Portugal, Poland, Netherlands, Brazil, China, Ukraine, Turkey, Togo, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Columbia etc. One ore point, LPU is the highest paying employer for the faculty in the country, the selection into LPU is a rigorous and difficult process in itself, both these things clearly point out towards quality consciousness of the organisation. Not only this, LPU invests into continuous improvement in faculty too, via national and international FDPs for their upskilling. LPU's investments in its intellectual capital are a case study in itself, its on its back that they have been able to create the country's largest university in a small obscure town which is now international hub for students and faculty. Dear Abhishek, LPU is a good university for higher education and the faculty is also well experienced in the respective area of study. All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities all over the world. They are not just faculty members but are mentors to students. Learned faculty works hard on students to get them placed in the best of the companies. LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. The university leaves no stone unturned to shape the future of its students. As per my own experience, I can proudly say that faculty members at LPU put up their 100% in the development of students. University takes utmost care and no chance in choosing qualified faculty members. Also, University keeps on conducting regular Faculty Development Programs so that they can update the faculty members with the industry and the latest needs. This is very much helpful for students. As per my knowledge, Lovely Professional University has around more than 2000 faculty members in the university. The university has experienced, specialised and well-qualified faculty members. Some of the faculty members are from IITs, NITs, IIITs, Iims etc. Faculty members are highly qualified, most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, They have at least minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge. They are cooperative and whenever you need their help they are ready to help you out. Professors of LPU are renowned for their friendly, open door approach. They bring their passion and enthusiasm for teaching into the classroom providing an intimate, interactive, personalized approach to learning The faculty members are invited by the International Universities for the seminars and conferences of International level. Research papers are published by the Faculty members. Faculty is involved in research and Patents are filed by the different faculty departments also. The faculty recruited by the university are only either experienced or an alumni of NIT's or IIT's, Iims Teaching mode is English thus students who come from across India will be comfortable. The management is student friendly and helps out every one in need.
