How are the faculties over there? Is it good?

Hello Abhishek, the faculty are the soul of an educational institution. At LPU the faculty are trained professionals who have studied at top universities of the country and have worked with industrial giants also and are equipped with academic excellence. They deserve to be the faculty hence they are at the dais. The academic and professional details about faculty are mentioned on the website. The teachers also act as mentors to the students. The students can call them and talk to them to get an answer to any academic or personal problem they feel stuck at. The faculty are engaged in higher learning and research work simultaneously. Such is the ambience of LPU. LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. LPU has over 2300 highly qualified faculty, and most of them are either Ph.D. or pursuing Ph.D. The faculty members give their best to make you understand the things in an easy approach. University takes utmost care and no chance in choosing qualified faculty members. Also, the University keeps on conducting regular Faculty Development Programs so that they can update the faculty members with the industry and the latest needs. As far as the curriculum is concerned, the syllabus gets updated by industry experts so that the demands of the industry are MET once students pass out from the university. This is very much helpful for students. The research oriented faculty members are very much dedicated to carrying out research work. They have many patents under their hood. The faculty members are awarded with projects worth crores by the central government. And foreign universities. And every year they get hundreds of research papers published which itself is an achievement. In short, the faculty members of LPU are very much dedicated to providing world class teaching to its students. One unique thing about faculty is that at LPU if the students do not give good feedback of a particular teacher or not liking the way he teaches then they can report it to the head of the dept who reports the same to the head of school and finally the teacher gets replaced. However, one come across such incidents not very often.

Believe me you will be among the faculties with rich experience of industry and domain.With approximately 370 M.Tech qualified, 23 M.Phils and 724 Ph.D faculty members, including faculty members from IITs, IIMs, IIITs etc., LPU has one of the best intellectual capital. 70+ faculty / staff members from foreign countries including USA, Germany, France, Russia, Romania, Poland, China etc. bring the diversity into teaching. To enhance the quality of education, faculty members are provided with facilities like academic extension leaves for perusing doctoral/research studies, attending development/training programs outside the university and in-campus training programs are arranged with academic and industry experts from within and outside the university on periodical basis. I believe this clarifies your doubts.

Being the alumni of LPU. I would like to share that the faculties at LPU always burn the midnight oil so that their students outshine in their respective fields as well as careers .LPU composed of the best faculties from IIM, IITs and the other best B schools. Maximum faculties are PhD's or pursuing the same. One of the most interesting thing is that very recently LPU has propounded an app through which the students could communicate their grievances, discussions or other material could also be uploaded by the professors on it. I believe this is the best platform where the students could at point of time discuss anything to their faculties . This would also lead to the better understanding between between both the levels. Research papers, Book chapters, Patents are playing protagonist in the life of professors so this could also decline the gap between the professors and students. LPU has also collaborated with foreign faculties ,so the students are also getting the opportunities to interact with them .

LPU ranks amongst the Top 200 universities of the world as per the prestigious Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021, which assess universities against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In 2021 rankings, only three Indian universities have made to the list of Top 200 in the World. LPU has outshined various institutions like IITs, NITs, state and central universities across India and has ranked high on parameters of Affordable and Clean Energy, and Decent Work and Economic Growth. The National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked the management and pharmacy programmes of LPU in 2019. The management programmes of LPU were given the 52nd rank while the pharmacy courses were ranked at the 27th position LPU is having experienced, specialized and well qualified faculty members. 70+ faculty / staff members have been from foreign countries, faculty from IIT, IIM and IIIT as we are concerned about the betterment of the students and long term growth of our University. At present there are around 70 faculty members from IIT, IIMs, IIITs etc.

Hi, Yes the faculties of LPU are rich with knowledge and approachable.There are around 2000 faculty members in the university. They have experienced, specialized and well qualified faculty members. Around 370 M.Tech qualified, 23 M.Phils and 724 Ph.D. 70+ faculty / staff members have been from foreign countries including USA, Slovakia, Germany, France, Serbia, Russia, Romania, Portugal, Poland, Netherlands, Brazil, China, Ukraine, Turkey, Togo, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Columbia etc. The faculty members have been going to foreign university for Teaching and research projects. Check International Tie-up directory for names> They believe in continuous and over all development of our faculty. So we conduct faculty development programmes on regular basis. Our faculty members are invited by the International Universities for the seminars and conferences of International level They have recruited faculty from IIT, IIM and IIIT as we are concerned about the betterment of the students and long term growth of our University. At present there are around 73 faculty members from IIT, IIMs, IIITs etc. The faculty members are invited by the International Universities for the seminars and conferences of International level Research papers are published by the Faculty members. Faculty is involved in research and Patents are filed by the different faculty departments also.

Well there are three things that comes to my mind when it comes to LPU faculty 1. Experienced 2. Well learnt 3. Ever ready to help LPU comprises more than 20 schools that provide 200 plus programs in engineering, technology, management, pharmacy, social science, hotel management having an extra edge in curriculum and facilities with the best staff and faculty. Lovely Professional University's commitment to teaching excellence and providing highest quality education to its students has once again brought laurels. The Ministry of Human Resource Department, Government of India has released NIRF Ranking 2020 and LPU appears in Top 100 in its most crucial Overall category, which includes IITs and Central Universities. LPU is also ranked 78th in the list of all the government and private universities of the country.

To my experience, Lovely Professional University is always appreciated because of the faculty members, placement, and curriculum. Student-to-faculty ratio can be a defining factor while choosing amongst these colleges. LPU Faculty hired is at par as per the requirements of UGC. Hence one could go Government UGC site to be able to understand more details on this. Well, that's more of a judgemental question, nobody could be 100 % precise with this information. But overall, the quality of faculty members is good in almost all the reputed Universities across the country. Faculty members hold good industry experienced, hold related degrees, and are recruited through a tedious process. Though having such a qualification need not mean one can teach well, I agree with that, but the system of how the faculty's environment work is good. If a faculty is not giving his best or delivering good lectures then students have the free option to report the same to the HEAD OF DEPARTMENT and ultimately THE HEAD OF SCHOOL and GET THE TEACHER REPLACED or CHANGED. There are frequent feedback sessions and suggestions taken of the faculty members from the students on how well they are delivering in the classes. The curriculum is tough at times, but if you understand the system, then it's easy, it is also advanced. Hello, I have spent 4 years for my graduation and as per my experience LPU faculty is really well experienced, supportive, and last but not least they understand the students. During my graduation, I never faced any disappointments from the faculty side. They have great knowledge and their way of teaching is really interesting. The best part is that they always helped beyond their job timings I learned from most of the Ph.D. faculty members and they all have more than 15 years of experience in teaching and research. Lovely Professional University is really good University. Right from the teachers to placements, everything's amazing and taken care of. I really feel as alumni of LPU, that it is one of the best institution and really works hard to better its students in every way possible. Lovely Professional University has around more than 2000 faculty members in the university. The university has experienced, specialized and well-qualified faculty members. Some of the faculty members are from IITs, NITs, IIITs,IIMs etc. Faculties are highly qualified, most of the faculties have done their Ph.D and others are pursuing, They have at least minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge.They are cooperative and whenever you need their help they are ready to help you out. Professors of LPU are renowned for their friendly, open door approach. They bring their passion and enthusiasm for teaching into the classroom providing an intimate, interactive, personalized approach to learning The faculty members are invited by the International Universities for the seminars and conferences of International level . Research papers are published by the Faculty members. Faculty is involved in research and Patents are filed by the different faculty departments also. The faculty recruited by the university are only either experienced or an alumni of NIT's or IIT's,IIMs Teaching mode is English, thus students who come from across India will be comfortable. The management is student friendly and helps out every one in need. Thee best part at LPU is that the feedback of students are frequently taken and considered i.e if they are facing any problem with any professor or not liking the way he teaches then they can report it to head of dept who reports the same to head of school and finally the teacher gets replaced.
