How are the faculty members in LPU?

The faculty of LPU are trained professionals or hard core academicians with scholastic achievements. Most of the faculty at LPU are Ph.D. The student teacher ratio is less hence the teacher is more approachable to the students. In addition to it, the university has a beautiful tradition of allotting mentors to the students. The teachers act as mentors to a group of students for their personal and academic problems. The faculty address the problems of the students in each and every possible way. If a student finds a teacher unduly harsh, he can even complain to the management and the teacher is given a notice. The teacher can be even replaced. The programmes with industry collaborations have industry experts as teachers. The university invites guest lecturers for different programmes from time to time to widen the horizons of the students.

LPU, the faculty is well qualified. All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, and top-ranked universities all over the world. All the faculty members are really helpful for all aspects whether it is academics or any other. My guide during my programme helped me a lot in my research work and I published 2 International Conference Papers in IEEE-Explore. Many students have published research papers and patents in International Journal and Conferences. The faculty of LPU, updated with the latest methods of pedagogy (teaching) help turn students into a finished product with high market demand, yet with a social conscience and urge to contribute and give back. LPU as in the present scenario this is the university that caters to the all-around development of its students and nurtures it with care to boost the career to a pinnacle of ultimate success which might be the envy of many. As per my knowledge, Lovely Professional University has around more than 2000 faculty members in the university. The university has experienced, specialised and well-qualified faculty members. Some of the faculty members are from IITs, NITs, IIITs, Iims etc. I am pass out student of LPU. I would say, faculty members are highly qualified, most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, They have at least minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge. They are cooperative and whenever you need their help they are ready to help you out. Professors of LPU are renowned for their friendly, open door approach. They bring their passion and enthusiasm for teaching into the classroom providing an intimate, interactive, personalized approach to learning The faculty members are invited by the International Universities for the seminars and conferences of International level. Research papers are published by the Faculty members. Faculty is involved in research and Patents are filed by the different faculty departments also. The faculty recruited by the university are only either experienced or an alumni of NIT's or IIT's, Iims Teaching mode is English thus students who come from across India will be comfortable. The management is student friendly and helps out every one in need. Thee best part at LPU is that the feedback of students are frequently taken and considered I. e if they are facing any problem with any professor or not liking the way he teaches then they can report it to head of dept who reports the same to head of school and finally the teacher gets replaced. So no need to worry about faculty member or professors at LPU. Thank you!

Hello Virat, I have spent 4 years for my graduation and as per my experience LPU faculty is really well experienced, supportive, and last but not least they understand the students. During my graduation, I never faced any disappointments from the faculty side. They have great knowledge and their way of teaching is really interesting. The best part is that they always helped beyond their job timings I learned from most of the Ph.D. faculty members and they all have more than 15 years of experience in teaching and research. As an alumni of LPU, I think I can answer this question well. The teaching role of faculty members reflects their centrality in addressing the primary educational mission among colleges and universities. As faculty members teach, they disseminate and impart basic or applied knowledge to students and assist students with the learning process and applying the knowledge. Highlights about the faculty - - - - - LPU has around 2000 faculty members in the university. - LPU has experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. - Around 370 M.Tech qualified, 23 M. Phils and 724 Ph.D. 70+ faculty / staff members have been from foreign countries including USA, Slovakia, Germany, France, Serbia, Russia, Romania, Portugal, Poland, Netherlands, Brazil, China, Ukraine, Turkey, Togo, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Columbia etc. - The faculty members have been going to foreign university for Teaching and research projects. - LPU believes in continuous and over all development of our faculty. So they conduct faculty development programmes on regular basis. The faculty members are invited by the International Universities for the seminars and conferences of International level - They recruit faculty from IIT, IIM and IIIT as they are concerned about the betterment of the students and long term growth of our University. Being the alumni of LPU. I would like to share that, the faculty members at LPU always burn the midnight oil so that their students outshine in their respective fields as well as careers. LPU composed of the best faculty members from IIM, IITs and the other best B schools. Maximum faculty members are PhD's or pursuing the same. One of the most interesting thing is that very recently LPU has propounded an app through which the students could communicate their grievances, discussions or other material could also be uploaded by the professors on it. I believe this is the best platform where the students could at point of time discuss anything to their faculty members. This would also lead to the better understanding between both the levels. Research papers, Book chapters, Patents are playing protagonist in the life of professors so this could also decline the gap between the professors and students. LPU has also collaborated with foreign faculty members, so the students are also getting the opportunities to interact with them.

To my experience, Lovely Professional University is always appreciated because of the faculty members, placement, and curriculum. BBA or MBA is something that is completely relatable to your surroundings, it's a management thing. If you say marketing is a specialisation in MBA then marketing is all around us. And how you are able to relate the content in books and the content around you is a task. To get this level of thinking, you need to broaden your thoughts, you need to be a part of brainstorming activities and you have to start learning from your surroundings. And this is where the role of faculty members or environment or university is help upon. As per my personal experience, I am able to observe such a level of thinking in a Management guy from Lovely Professional University. Almost all of the colleges being compared here have a huge number of people on the campus. Student to faculty ratio can be a defining factor while choosing amongst these colleges. LPU Faculty hired is at par as per the requirements of UGC. Hence one could go Government UGC site to be able to understand more details on this. Well, that's more of a judgemental question, nobody could be 100 % precise with this information. But overall, the quality of faculty members is good in almost all the reputed Universities across the country. Faculty members hold good industry experienced, hold related degrees, and are recruited through a tedious process. Though having such a qualification need not mean one can teach well, I agree with that, but the system of how the faculty's environment work is good. If a faculty is not giving his best or delivering good lectures then students have the free option to report the same to the HEAD OF DEPARTMENT and ultimately THE HEAD OF SCHOOL and GET THE TEACHER REPLACED or CHANGED. There are frequent feedback sessions and suggestions taken of the faculty members from the students on how well they are delivering in the classes. The curriculum is tough at times, but if you understand the system, then it's easy, it is also advanced. LPU provides you the best of everything and the education level is very good in the university and they take classes for improving communication skills also. LPU focus on practicals a lot they have BYOD (Bring your own device) classes so that students can learn easily and they have MAC lab for IOS development and many more. Each year LPU improves one new technology by taking feedback from the student they know what students need. Now move to your question all professors are highly qualified and experienced. Some of the faculty members are from IITs, NITs, IIITs, Iims, etc. Faculty members are highly qualified, most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, They have at least a minimum of 5 years of experience and enough amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge. LPU always takes feedback at the end of every semester about the faculty members if students are facing any problem regarding faculty they can complain.

Hi there. I am an alumnus of LPU. Now, after spending almost a year studying at LPU virtually, I am hustling up, taking opportunities, and interacting with people. I have come across many learned teachers who were very sweet and friendly. Lovely Professional University has around more than 2000 faculty members in the university. The university has experienced, specialised, and well-qualified faculty members. Some of the faculty members are from IITs, NITs, IIITs, Iims etc. Faculty members are highly qualified, most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, They have at least minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge. They are cooperative and whenever you need their help they are ready to help you out. I can just say that we are a community that is transforming the education model in India and the world. LPU always tries to do more for students like arranging classes from Masters of the fields like Mr. Yashwant Kanetkar, the author of the books like Let Us C and Let Us C+.
