How are the hostels of LPU?

LPU provides safe and secure residential facilities for boys and girls separately. There is zero tolerance to ragging, alcohol, smoking, drugs and disciplinary misconduct. Turnstile gates with biometric machines for entry and exit. In-House laundry facilities available at nominal charges, Mess food available in every hostel that provides good quality and hygienic food. Rooms with attached washroom, air cooler/air conditioner facility,24 hours power supply, geyser in each room, internet connectivity through Wi-Fi system. Students can opt for 4 seater, 3 seater, 2 seater etc. According to their conveyance and requirements.

LPU is a premier university for his best placements, infrastructure and faculty. The life in LPU hostel is very good. LPU has students from across the globe. So they are liable to provide best of the best to their students. LPU hostels are very safe and secure due to 24 hours dedicated team of wardens, mess workers and security guards. The whole campus is under CCTV surveillance. There are separate hostels +mess for boys and girls with Different food options in a mess. In mess, you can find north Indian, south Indian and snakes kind of variety of food at a time. It is your wish to eat food of your choice. Every day, food quality is inspected by quality assurance team. In hostels, rooms with attached washrooms are available with cooler and AC facilities. In every hostel, guest rooms, study room, Library, playing ground, 24 hour Canteen, store, ATM, Laundry and medical facilities are available. Every semester, inter hostel competitions are organized by university. Due to diversity of students, from different regions, students learn a lot while staying together in hostel. The cleaning staff is available in the hostel. Over all LPU hostels are very good for students.

Hi, LPU hostel life is really good. Lovely Professional University has students from all over the world. Separate hostels are there for boys and girls. The university is committed to zero tolerance for ragging, drinking, smoking, drugs, and disciplinary misconduct. I would like to highlight some of the features. 1. Turnstile gates are there at the entry of every hostel, and CCTvs are also installed in every hostel for the security reasons. Moreover, security guards are there in every hostel, and in campus, you will find security guards at every 100 m. 2. Proper cleaning is there for hostel rooms and attach washroom is there. 3.24*7 electricity, water supply, and Wi-fi facility. 4. If there is any issue related to room, you can put online requests or complaints about the same (RMS) through UMS. For eg, If the fan stopped working just lodge the complaint and it will be resolved as soon as possible. 5. Apart from mess facilities, every hostel has a departmental store as well as a canteen so that all the student's needs are fulfilled. Thanks.

Hostels at LPU are the largest student accommodation in India. More than 25000 students live in the fully equipped hostels. There are many options to choose from as per your convenience and budget. From single seat apartments to shared rooms to dormitories! There is something to suit every pocket. The university provides beds, chairs, tables, AC/Cooler/Geyser, fan, lights, cupboards etc. Fro its own side. One unique feature is the helping nature of students Whenever the batch graduates, many students who are well off they leave buckets, mattresses and many other essential things for the needy students of incoming batches. With such a great empathy, students life is all fun in the hostels. You get a high-speed Wi-Fi, electricity and water round the clock, Many water coolers with RO plants are also available in the hostels with easy access. The cleanliness of corridors, hostels is of utmost importance to LPU. There are mess as well as canteen facilities in almost every hostel, barbers, stationery, laptop and mobile repair etc. Are also available. All hostels have grocery shops of WH Smith. The campus has everything, restaurants, kiosks, bakery, Shopping mall, Cafes, stationery, grocery and departmental stores, courier service and post office, Hotel, bowling alley, gymnasiums, sports complexes, playgrounds everything ! Even bank branches and several ATMS are also there. This campus is nothing short of one big modern city ! Hope thus helps DVD.

Hello Ritika, LPU provides safe and secure residential facilities for boys and girls separately. The ambiance is amazing here. From tuck shop to salon, every essential thing is available in hostels. Rooms are spacious with all required furniture, Geyser and AC. 24*7 hour security is there for students. Students are completely safe in hostels as well in university. In-House laundry facilities available at nominal charges, Mess food available in every hostel that provides good quality and hygienic food.

Hello, I myself being a hostler here in Lovely Professional University, can say that hostel life in LPU is pretty amazing. As I have stayed in hostels earlier, I am very much impressed with the facilities that we get here in LPU. To me the infrastructure plays an important role, so the environment, the surroundings that I get in here are peaceful. There are 6 hostel blocks for girls. 1, 2,3 and 4 blocks are attached, and are like a mini society in itself. We have a wonderful garden along with two basketball courts. There are 23 open gym under the hostel. Along with that, there are parlors for personal grooming. Canteens to have variety of cuisines, and mess for all who have opted for mess at the starting of the semester. The hostel life here is secure and safe. Some may feel the hostel timings are too strict but that is actually to maintain discipline in the university, which not only helps now but will help in inculcating discipline in life in future. The separate hostels for boys and girls and canteens and mess that are seperate for both. The campus area around the hostel is pretty homely and the rooms too are comfortable. The apartment-style area for living with a shared lounge and bathroom makes it easy for students to live in. TV area, laundry, and Wi-Fi facility at all times give an edge to the hostels of LPU. The hostels are spacious and provide a home away from home experience. There are separate buildings for boys and girls and canteens and mess where the entire hostel family dines together. TV area and the sports facilities are all there. Zero Ragging/ Zero Discrimination: Nobody is ragged at LPU, This word actually doesn't exist here. There is complete secularism in the LPU hostel life as you will find seniors and juniors treated similarly at the Campus and even at the Hostel Outdoor Games/ Indoor Games/Gym: There are so many places at Campus for outdoor games and as well as indoor games. Some are campus properties and some are vendor properties (game parlours) where you have to pay. Everything is fun wherever you fit in yourself. Hostels are perfect for your stay at LPU. LPU offers residential facilities to the students, staff and faculty who are from far flung areas where commuting is not possible. Honestly mentioning, I have never experienced the residential facility of the University but one of my friend who stayed in hostel highlighted the following points: 1. Automated turnstile gates with biometric machines regulate entry & exit of the residential facility. 2. Clean & Green Environment 3. Separate residential Facility for the students with different seater. 4. Rooms are with B.Ed study table, chair, almirahs, desert cooler and geyser. 5 AC rooms are also available in the above category. 6. Differential and hygienic food facility and Mess and canteen facility in every hostel is there. 7. Laundry facility 8. Gym facility to remain fit 9. Over and above the medical facility being provided inside the beautiful campus. 10. 24*7 electricity supply and Wi-Fi. 11. There are general facilities such as :dedicated hotline and power backup for 24 hrs power supply at university campus. 12.60+ATMs of 5 nationalized banks and Post Office facilities for money transfer, speed post, etc. 13. Study room, TV room, Saloon, Photocopy Machines, Departmental store for daily needs, Cafeteria, vending Machine (soft drinks), Lifts and Parking facility. 14. University-Mall, an eight- storied complex, houses departmental stores, various shops, banks, food-courts. These help students to meet their daily needs on the campus itself. 15. There are 100+ eating joints across the university at different locations near hostel areas. 16. Academic support and recreational sports are also provided.

There are multiple numbers of hostels for both boys and girls, having automated turnstile gates with biometric machines regulating the entry and exit of hostellers. The university is constantly committed to zero tolerance to ragging and disciplinary misconduct. The first thing anyone would look for in a residential facility is a comfort. Hostels at LPU have single seater rooms, multiple seater rooms, and apartments as well. You can also choose between an AC or Non-AC room.
