    Mechanical engineering is the discipline that applies engineering physics, engineering mathematics, and materials Science principles to design, analyze, manufacture, and maintain mechanical systems. It is the branch of engineering that involves the design, production, and operation of machinery.     Placements at LPU is always applauded. With best of my knowledge, I am sharing the major placement highlights. LPU is good in case of placement but if we talk about the placement in Mechanical branch. In Mech the no of students placed in Core company like Honda, Cheema Boilers etc. If we take a look of last year students placed in recent batch:- 1. Honda-2 students at 8 Lacs 2. Cheema Boilers=around 7 or 8 students selected as a Trainee Many students got placed in Anglo-Eastern I. e Merchant Navy, and some students in Samundra which is also a Merchant Navy Institute.
