How are the placements for B.Tech mechanical engineering in LPU?

Being an alumni I would like to share my insights. A Mechanical Engineering student goes through an experiential learning process surrounded by high-end latest labs and equipment including robotics and automation. International tech-fests and competitions encourage all-round development in our students in addition to giving them international exposure. Lovely Professional University provides several programs that include B.Tech, B.Tech (Hons. ), a dual degree programme for B.Tech and M.Tech and B.Tech and MBA and integrated programs like B.Tech and MBA and B.Tech and M.Tech. Here at LPU, you can get enrolled in any stream as per your interest and choice. Every year many students join the various engineering courses that are offered by LPU. Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for them by the university. , Ministry of Science Technologys Advisory Monitoring Committee Meeting was held where 42 Scientists from various top universities like IITs, NITs etc. The syllabus is updated every 6 months which personally, It has separate lab facilities available for each course like robotics Lab, research lab, postgraduate lab, aviation lab, lab for fashion designing, advance kitchen lab etc. Faculties are highly qualified, most of the faculties have done their Ph.D and others are pursuing, They have at least minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge.They are cooperative and whenever you need their help they are ready to help you out. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering: Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning) Quantitative Aptitude Skills Technical Aptitude Skills Presentations and Soft Skills Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc.) All a student has to do is to maintain a good academic record and personality to ensure his/her placement. Mechanical Engineering is a very diversified field and it is called the mother of all engineering branches. so, you have made a good decision if you are thinking of opting for it as a career. For a Mechanical Engineering graduate from LPU, there is no shortage of career opportunities. There are very good placement opportunities available. The university has a good record in terms of placement and good core companies visit its campus. For example, Voltas, Tech Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki Ltd, Honda, Nissan Motors Ltd, Volkswagen, Anglo-Eastern Ship Mgt., Asahi India, Saint Gobain Glass, Rockman (Hero group), Samundra, Indo-MIM, Sandhar Technologies, JK Lakshmi Cement, XL Dynamics, CleanMax Solar, Elgi Equipments Ltd, etc. The highest Package of Rs 7.9 LPA has been offered to students from Mechanical Engineering. Apart from that, the internship is also one of the options which you can take which is allied to the placement process. In this, students can get a chance to get practical work experience of six months with a company in the final year( upon satisfying eligibility criteria of both universities as well as the company). Placements are good in LPU especially for Engg programmes. LPU provides the ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placements and huge infrastructure, good faculty, Mac Labs, extra curriculum activities and cool campus environment with great facilities.
