How are the placements for MCA at LPU?

Hi Hitesh, I would say that LPU would be the best choice for doing Master of Computer Applications. The placement drives at LPU are highly efficient and successful, and I am saying this because one of my friend has done MCA from LPU only and right now she is working with Wipro. Few points told by my friend who did her studies from LPU that will help you to make your decision: She told me, LPU adopts new technologies faster than anyone, they update their curriculum even after each semester by taking feedback from the students and also to meet the latest standards. LPU focuses on practical knowledge a lot, they have high tech labs and dedicated MAC lab for iOS development, each core subject has a different practical subject for it. They give you a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Try not to miss those classes they will help you in getting better placements, after all, all we need is a decent place with good exposure. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) such as Amazon, Tech Mahindra, ITC, Trident Group, Cognizant Technology Solutions etc. And generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session.

Being an alumni of LPU I would like to answer this question, One of my friends has done MCA lateral entry and got placed in Wipro with decent package. Several Big Brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic session 2016-2017 for campus placements like Google, Amazon, Tech Mahendra, CTS, Adobe, etc. LPU students have also availed opportunities of Placements in government services like Indian Army, Indian Navy, Transport Corporation of India, etc. Through on-campus/off-campus placement drives and SSB interviews. Companies like NIIT, Verizon, Cognizant, TCS and other bigshots like Amazon, Google, ITC and IBM visit LPU during the placement drive. The pay packages offered are decent as well, even for internships, the stipends are great. But of course, your chances of getting placed in a good company depend on your academic performance, and your practical knowledge skills pertaining to your discipline.
