How are the placements for MCA at LPU?

LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition and accreditation and mark itself among the few of the top private universities. Moreover the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities. LPU has become a go-to destination for companies to hire quality students, companies like WIPRO, ITC, and other MNCs revisited the campus for the placement of students. Several Big Brands of the industry have visited LPU campus for campus placements like Google, Amazon, Tech Mahendra, CTS, Adobe, etc. LPU students have also availed opportunities of Placements in government services like Indian Army, Indian Navy, Transport Corporation of India, etc. Through on-campus/off-campus placement drives and SSB interviews. MCA students of LPU have a higher competitive edge over other students because of in-house training opportunities. MCA students are given in house training in the final semester to help them implement theory into the practical world.

Hello Hitesh, its good to enquire beforehand about the university and the course that you are opting for. The MCA programme at LPU is in accordance with the diverse needs of the industry. The programme aims at grooming the students in a professional way so that they can flourish in the corporate IT Sector. MCA is more focused towards practical implementation of various computing aspects such as programming, databases, networking, web development etc. The eligibility for the course is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in BCA or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or B.Sc. (Information Technology) or any Graduation with Computer Science as a subject for three years or B.A. Or B.Com. Or B.Sc. (any Graduation) with (Mathematics as one of the subjects at Graduation or 10+2 level) or equivalent. In case a student has not studied computer as a subject in graduation, then he/she shall have to go through bridge/ additional courses (subjects) which may be scheduled before the commencement of classes or along with the regular classes. Students need not pay any additional amount for bridge/ additional courses. Clearing LPU NEST is a must. Student may be given an option to go for 4 weeks study tour to USA/ European The topics dealt with in the course are Analysis &amp; design of complex problems, Coding skills, Ethics, Communication, Societal Impact. The student can even go to an international university that the university is partnered with. The highest package offered was 31 LPA and the average salary was 4 Lacs.
