CLICK LABS RECRUITED MCA STUDENTS AT PACKAGES OF 3.5 - 4 LPA 4 students have been placed in KPIT at a package of 3.25 LPA 3 MCA STUDENTS PLACED IN SAFRAN AT A PACKAGE OF 3.15 LPA VenturePact recruited 3 MCA students, at a package of 4.25 LPA.

Lovely Professional University is the best Computer Application college in Punjab. The reason being that it is ranked among the top 4 computer application institutes of North India by NASSCOM. Innovative learning MCA students of LPU have a higher competitive edge over other students because of in-house training opportunities. MCA students are given in house training in the final semester to help them implement theory into the practical world. 12 groups of students of MCA had participated in the project EXPO 2017 which was held in LPU. Projects like drones and mobile apps were displayed by the students during this project. A home security system was also displayed by the students of MCA in the Project Expo 2017. In this they had displayed a security System which had an alarm and the security alert was sent to the user's mobile. When it comes to placements, LPU has the topmost ranking in India for successfully placing it deserving students in top companies with high salary packages. Many a deserving students have got dream packages after the completion of the degree in LPU. Many eminent companies come for the placement drives in LPU to recruit students. 13 MCA students were placed in Cognizant at an average package of 3.3 LPA Click labs appointed MCA students at a package of 3.5 to 4 LPA. MCA students were placed in Tech Mahindra at a package of 3.25 LPA. A French company called Safran, recruited three MCA students at a package of 3.15 LPA. Prominent company Venturepact appointed LPU MCA students at a package of 4.25 LP.

LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition and accreditation and mark itself among the few of the top private universities. Moreover the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities. LPU has become a go-to destination for companies to hire quality students, companies like WIPRO, ITC, and other MNCs revisited the campus for the placement of students. Several Big Brands of the industry have visited LPU campus for campus placements like Google, Amazon, Tech Mahendra, CTS, Adobe, etc. LPU students have also availed opportunities of Placements in government services like Indian Army, Indian Navy, Transport Corporation of India, etc. Through on-campus/off-campus placement drives and SSB interviews. Industry certifications, MOOCs, hackathons/competitions, workshops, guest lectures, educational trips, live projects, incubation projects, community projects, NGO projects, etc. Are an integral part of the programme. There is also the possibility of studying abroad, from which the candidate can benefit on university terms. University provides additional placement-oriented classes and students also studied subjects like analytical skills, soft skills, etc. As part of the curriculum to prepare the students for all types of competitive exams as well. Many top recruiters visit the LPU to recruit the students, such as Amazon, Tech Mahindra, ITC, Trident Group, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Bosch, TCS, and several other firms. The highest package till now is 12.5 LPA and the average package ranges from 5 LPA to 8 LPA. Hello Hitesh, its good to enquire beforehand about the university and the course that you are opting for. The MCA programme at LPU is in accordance with the diverse needs of the industry. The programme aims at grooming the students in a professional way so that they can flourish in the corporate IT Sector. MCA is more focused towards practical implementation of various computing aspects such as programming, databases, networking, web development etc. The eligibility for the course is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in BCA or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or B.Sc. (Information Technology) or any Graduation with Computer Science as a subject for three years or B.A. Or B.Com. Or B.Sc. (any Graduation) with (Mathematics as one of the subjects at Graduation or 10+2 level) or equivalent. In case a student has not studied computer as a subject in graduation, then he/she shall have to go through bridge/ additional courses (subjects) which may be scheduled before the commencement of classes or along with the regular classes. Students need not pay any additional amount for bridge/ additional courses. Clearing LPU NEST is a must. Student may be given an option to go for 4 weeks study tour to USA/ European The topics dealt with in the course are Analysis &amp; design of complex problems, Coding skills, Ethics, Communication, Societal Impact. The student can even go to an international university that the university is partnered with. The highest package offered was 31 LPA and the average salary was 4 Lacs.
