HI Vaibhav, Being an Education Consultant, Generally I will laugh when I have to answer that how much package I will get, what will the job placements. No one talks about studies or their own skills. I agree institutes are equally responsible to make you skilled and to provide placements. But it is candidate’s own responsibility also to make himself enough capable. So that an institute can easily provide them not only one in fact more than one job opportunities. Although both the universities are private and in fact SRM is also working very good and making a lot of efforts to grow in terms of Placements, Curriculum, Co-Curriculum and Extra curriculum. SRM is working equally good as LPU is doing since 2 decades. Due to LPU's Dedication and now enough experience, LPU is a step ahead in providing placements and improving Curriculum at regular intervals, i.e. after every 6 months.

Hello! The placements record of B.Tech CSE students of Lovely Professional University is highly impressive because so many companies visit the campus for their on-campus placement drives. Some of the biggest companies like SAP Labs, Capgemini, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the campus. Recently, nine B. Tech CSE/IT students got hired by VMware. Package as high as 27.50 LPA have been offered to the CSE/IT students in the past. LPU also holds a record of 610 students getting placed in Cognizant and that too in a single day. If you talk about placements, placements equally depends upon students as on university. My advice is that you focus on learning as much as you can throughout the course of your degree. If you have the correct knowledge of your subjects, any company will be happy to hire you. Make the most of your classroom and lab sessions and constantly approach the teachers for guidance regarding anything and everything. Do not forget to attend workshops because you get to learn a lot from it and work on a live project so that you get to implement your learning into something practical. LPU focusses on live projects so that the students get to learn in the best way possible, which is a good thing. At the same time, it provides internships and training opportunities with Google, CISCO, etc. so that the students get good exposure. LPU has set highest placements record sequentially for the last three years in the North India. Companies like Google, Yahoo, IBM, SAP, IndiGo and many more visit the campus. Placements are not only for the engineering students but for the other branches also. Special placement cell is placed for it. Now it completely depends upon the students to crack the interviews. Students are also placed for international locations. As International Companies like Hyatt (USA), Ritz Carlton (USA), Adani Wilmar (Africa), Altruist (Africa), Al-Rakha (Dubai), Dharam Consultancy (USA) selected LPU students for International locations. Top corporate like Verizon, Gemalto, Josh Technology, Asian Paints, Berger, LG Soft, Tavant, Gemalto, selected LPU student for dream package i.e. 4.5 Lac above and Air India, India's oldest aviation brand, selected LPU's hotel management students at a CTC of 8.5 Lakhs. lmost 96% of the students from our course got placed. LPU has very good placements for CSE. The students have been placed in the top companies with high salary packages. The placements have been divided as dream packages and bulk recruiters. Apart from placements, many eminent companies approach LPU to hire students for internships. LPU offers specializations in CSE are Cloud Computing, IoT, Data Science, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, Databases and Information Systems, Android Programming, Computer Architecture, programme Methodology, and Algorithms Design. A package of INR 42 lakh was offered to a CSE student of LPU, named Tanya, last year which has been the highest placement package in campus till date for this branch.

Many companies visit here for placement drive, and it is awarded for the most number of placements in a year.Around 550+ companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU. Companies like Microsoft,Amazon, Dell, Dainkin, HCL ,Bosch, Samsung are visiting campus for recruitment.

The university has been ranked high by various outer agencies with regard to placements of our students. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU; and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) and generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session. As per students interest and inclination towards his or her career choice, LPU provides career pathways and accordingly, changes are done in the students curriculum based on the pathway being opted by students like: Corporate jobs Govt Jobs Higher studies Entrepreneurship Research
