How are the placements of B.Tech in EEE from University College of Engineering, JNTU?

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University is one of the oldest technological university that has been in India and has been offering many courses. Electronics and Electrical Engineering is one of the courses provided by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. It is accredited by NAAC and it is a part of an association of information university. It is a government college which has a great faculty and campus but it lacks the infrastructure and facilities provided to the students. Many companies that visit the placement of electrical and electronics engineering in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University: There are less number of companies coming for the placement of electrical and electronics engineering in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and companies coming in the placement are as follows: BirlaSoft Google Infosys Satyam TCS Wipro Yahoo Placements are average. About 30% of the students were placed with an average salary of 3.5 LPA. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, L&T, Veda IT, TCS and so on visit the campus.

J N T U College of Engineering is an above average college giving up teaser number of placements and having a good reputation for the same. But one should not consider pursuing electrical and electronics engineering from the same college and below are the reasons to support the same: The highest placement offered to the 2016 to 2017 batch was 6.5 lacs buy M&M company, followed by 6 lacs offered by Meeami tech, then Wipro Turbo offering 5.5 lacs, after which the placement suddenly drops down to 3.5 to 4 lacs, that being offered by the mass recruiters like TCS, Redpine signals, Enrich DataIntensity, NTTDATA, Accenture. All in all it comes down to the fact that the total number of students securing a package of 6 lacs and more are just 4 which is really bad for a college of such a kind. 80% of the students got placed under mass recruiters, with a package of 3.5 to 4 lacs. Keeping this in mind, I would not recommend you to join this college and if you have already done, you need to push yourself more and more or you'll end up with in the latter categories like others.
