How are the placements of B.Tech in mechanical engineering at LPU?

The highest packages for mechanical engineering has been 12-15 lacs per annum so for and average ranges within 2-4 lacs per annum.

The engineering stream at LPU itself has received an overall good rating from students and alumni. The School of Mechanical Engineering offers well engineered seamless courses for students at many different levels such as undergraduate, diploma/certificate, post-graduate and research based Ph.D. level courses, not only for Mechanical Engineering, but also for Automobile, Aerospace Engineering, Robotics and Mechatronics as well. As an alumni it might seem that I am supporting LPU but this is the reality which I have experienced in lpu during my graduation and post-graduation. LPU gives me an extra edge. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible student to secure good placement with the help of a dedicated Division of Career Services The university has been ranked high by various outer agencies with regard to placements of our students. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU; and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) and generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session. At Lovely Professional University, they not talk about Job Placements, but Career Placements.
