How big is the LPU campus?

LPU campus spreads over 600 acres (2.4 km2) in boundary on the outskirts of Jalandhar and houses over 30,000 students. LPU caters to the overall development of their students by providing: Student Services, Campus Security, university Hospital, University Management System, Apartment Style Residential Facilities, Transportation Facilities, Shopping and Dining, Banking and Postal Services, Education Loan Assistance and most importantly Placements. All these facilities are at the beck and call of the hostler. Manned by over 400 full time security officials, thousands of security cameras, LPU is one of the safest campuses in the world. Security officials and personnel are on duty 24 x 7 to ensure that no drug ever enters the campus. LPU has more CCTVs than even the New Delhi International Airport. LPU has Turnstile gates at major entry/exit points as well as boom barriers for vehicles, thereby ensuring that every movement is monitored. There are many student's organisations. Lovely Professional University had a memorable eve as it hosted FBB campus princess where former Femina Miss India United Continents Sana Dua adjudicated various aspirants of Miss India title. The students of Lovely Professional University witnessed one of the most fascinating musical event Coke Studio at LPU, Baldev Raj Mittal Unipolis. Lovely Professional University witnessed absolute madness as the students celebrated the presence of international singing sensation Guru Randhawa. Student organisation Spade, DSW organized the Grand finale of the Devils Hunt Talent show at LPU to embrace the talent of the aspirants. The 10th edition of mega Engineering event Efficycle 2019 was held at Lovely Professional University. Splitzvilla Season 2, FANFEST, ANVESHAN, B. <p><br>This can be answered by me. I miss LPU I. e. my other city. Being an alumnus of LPU, I have many memories there. It is the biggest university I have ever seen in my life as of now. Lovely Professional University (LPU), situated in Phagwara, in Punjab, India was established in 2005 and started welcoming students in 2006. The vast campus is spread over 600+ acres and 1200+ acres of agricultural land, it houses over 30,000 students annually and 3500+ staff, making it the largest student campus in India. There are around 400 courses for students on offer, with a variety of faculty members, including mechanical engineering, economics, law, performing arts, robotics and automation engineering, fashion design, journalism, and zoology. Students can gain undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees. All courses at LPU are taught in English so it is required that all students applying for admission should have strong reading, writing, speaking, and understanding of the English Language. LPU has strong partnerships with large companies in a wide variety of industries, including Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Hilton Hotels. Students are encouraged to secure internships and placements throughout their studies. In an attempt to nurture students' entrepreneurial talents, the university provides office space and equipment, technology support, and SEED capital. In addition, there's a dedicated business development hub, which hires mentors to assist students who are developing strong business ideas. There's a large cricket stadium and health centre for students to access. Sports on offer include cricket, boxing, football, taekwondo, and basketball. Students at LPU have competed at international events like the Commonwealth Championships in the United Kingdom and the National Judo Championships. There are also inter-university tournaments held on campus throughout the academic year. LPU campus spreads over 600+ acres. I get to know when I was enrolling myself in B.Tech (M.E). It has all the facilities in one campus, let it be the hospital, shopping mall, hotel, banks, ATM machines. LPU campus is one of the safest campuses maintained by over 400 full-time security professionals, most of whom are experienced ex-military personnel. The first time we entered the campus, we were mesmerized by the beauty of the campus. Such a clean and green environment it is. Positivity is all around on the campus.
