    Dear, Lovely professional university is the eco-friendly campus,  Lovely Professional University (LPU) manages its e-waste by transporting it off-campus. LPU produces around 10 tons of e-waste per semester 

    E-waste management involves the collection, transportation, recycling, refurbishing, and disposal of electronic waste in an environmentally friendly manner.

    Recycling is considered the best way to manage e-waste because it reduces the amount of waste that ends up in landfills and incinerators. It also conserves natural resources by reducing the need for new raw materials.

    Hi there, LPU has devised various methods to reduce energy consumption and to manage their e waste. LPU replaces old appliances time to time and uses only good rated or star electrical appliances. There is a special team of students and faculty members working on various pilot projects to reduce the e-waste and manage them with the help of the innovation centre in the university. Also, LPU has reduced the consumption of paper by a staggering 97%. The university is trying to achieve the 100% target year by year. Also, the university keeps students aware of the hazards of e waste.
