    School of Agriculture offers programs with up-to -date curriculum designed to suit the aspirations of agricultural industries as well as major research and development sectors. The laboratories of the School are world class. One can get a job of a Biochemist, Food Scientist, environmental Engineer, Agricultural Lawyer, Agricultural Operations Manager, Animal Geneticist, Agricultural Engineers, Agronomy Sales Manager etc The dedicated faculty of LPU gives the students a hands -on training experience by assigning live projects (Agricultural work) in university agricultural research farms and experiential learning on different agricultura

    The Bsc Agriculture course provided by the LPU is approved by ICAR i.e Indian Council of Agriculture and Research an autonomous body responsible for co-ordinating agricultural education and research in India. It reports to the Department of Agricultural Research and Education, Ministry of Agriculture. And Punjab State Council for Agricultural Education (PSCAE).

    Whatever the programme you pursue in LPU all are excellent and have bright future .
    BSc in Agriculture is a broad-based program with great possibilities for achievement. It manages with things like horticulture, food production, rural economy, animal rearing, environmental health, and rural development, etc. Other industries may face recession and downsizing but the agriculture industry can never fall prey because the major reason for this is food is the basic necessity for life.     LPU has an innovative course designed with a target of holistic development of students. Agriculture courses at LPU are very popular because LPU is the first private university to get an ICAR approval. Nowadays agriculture is not what it used to be. It has changed so is the study of farming practices.

    I think LPU is a much better university to go for agriculture. It has earned the ICAR accreditation and is the only one private university to get it. So, its a major point to be considered .LPU lays thrust on carrying out research in agricultural and allied fields. The university has well-equipped laboratories, library, lecture rooms, and excellent farm facility to conduct agricultural experiments. Students learn about the latest advancements in the field of agriculture, disease resistance, fertilizers and, insecticides with extensive fieldwork and field trips preparing them for the evergreen field of agriculture.

Students of School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio Seed, Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Amazon, Sanra organics and many more.
    The package really depends on what he can show to the recruiters that, how much he is worth or deserved.
