As per my experience during my B.Tech ( CSE) in the LPU. I feel proud to say that LPU has one of the best placements in India. I also got placed in Amazon with a handsome salary package and even most of my friends are placed from campus drives in Companies like Tech Mahindra, TCS, Microsoft, Capgemini The Average packages are 3 to 5 Lacs per annum. One of my batchmates is placed with the package of 42 Lacs per annum. All these records become possible because of LPU's best practices towards placement and professional enhancement. Moreover, it is the best university in the north for Great placements in CSE and other courses. The Separate

Hi, LPU has an outstanding placement record. Even during the pandemic, there was no full stop on placements. The university has been ranked high by various outer agencies with regard to the placements of the students. LPU is conferred with National Employability Award 2020 by Aspiring Minds for the 7th time in a row for most Employable Students and one among the top colleges and universities in India with one of the highest Employability rates. Being a B tech Undergraduate at LPU I can say the placements equally depend upon the student as well as university or college, but at LPU students are trained so well, that cracking any interview is a cakewalk. LPU receives the highest and the most quality placements from CSE itself. LPU has networks and tie-ups with the leading techno corporate tycoons industry leaders (few being the alumni of LPU) which visit every year to grasp the talent of the most diverse platform of the era. The most popular campus recruiting companies are Amazon, Flipkart, SAP, Oracle, Cisco, Hyatt, Air Indigo, Axis Bank, Indian Army, Adobe, Samsung, and so on.

To my advice, one must go for Computer Science and Engineering as it has been one of the most lucrative and competitive course to study since its inception in Indian engineering colleges. I would like to recommend those who have valid and eligible JEE Main scores then they could go for Lovely Professional University that offers B.Tech in various programs such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. Some of the points why one must consider B.Tech from LPU.
    1. LPU has 600+ acres of campus in Punjab and more than 25000+ students study there among many countries.

Hey, so from what I've checked on LPU's official site, the NEST counselling is mainly done online, which is super convenient for us students anywhere in India. You just log in after your results, pick your preferred courses and seats based on your rank, and lock it all in digitally—no need to travel right away.
It's got this smooth flow: download your scorecard, fill choices online, get seat allotment via merit, pay the initial fee (like INR20,000) through net banking or UPI, then submit docs later. LPU makes it flexible too, letting you pay offline at campus if you prefer, but the core process stays online for quick access.

Yeah, LPU totally releases the LPU NEST counselling dates on their official site—it's super organized and student-friendly. For 2026, they've got it starting February 8th onwards for B.Tech, with online seat preferences from Feb 8-10, results on 12th, and admissions up to late Feb. Results drop quick, like within 24-48 hours post-exam, so you can jump right into counselling without waiting forever.
It's all online mostly, through nest.lpu.in, where you update choices and get allotments based on your score—makes it easy from anywhere. No offline hassle unless you want campus visits for fees. LPU keeps everything updated live, way

Yes, it is actually very much required to bring along Class 10 and 12 certificates or at least mark sheets during the LPU NEST counseling, primarily because the university explicitly would wish to establish the age of applicants from the Class 10 marksheet and verify eligibility with the Class 12 certificate/marksheet before confirming admission and awarding a scholarship.

at LPU NEST counselling, you would have to check the result & rank, fill and lock online course/seat preferences, get the allotment of the seat based on the rank and choices, pay to secure the seat by paying the initial fee, and go on to upload/verify documents and pay the remaining fee within the stipulated time for final admission.
