How is the placement of B.Tech mechanical in LPU?

Being LPU alumni, I got the chance to interact with B.Tech Mechanical passout students based on their review, I can share the following information. Every field has evolved into a distinct branch. These are some of the questions that make me think that mechanical engineering has become a grandparent of engineering and might have lost its charm. Mechanical engineering is a great course in engineering. I am an alumnus of LPU and I know that this university has achieved great milestones in every aspect. Programme is 10 LPA from Hettich India, Intellipat. The majority opt for Teaching/Research. The great mix of technologies, software, and cutting-edge industry consulted curriculum makes it possible for LPU to produce well-rounded professionals. LPU also provides great extra curriculum activities for exposure, the most prominent being tech fest for mechanical students is GO Kart race that takes place in LPU annually and LPU is bags the top position in the race every time. Students and faculty have been able to make India's first driverless solar-powered bus used by PM Modi during his visit to campus. Many of the prototypes by students have been featured in the great Auto Expo at Delhi. There are more than 100 companies that are coming to LPU for the recruitment of mechanical students. Hi Bharath, the LPU offers a B Tech in Mechanical Engineering which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place for Design, Manufacturing, Thermal etc. Specialisation. The Eligibility Criteria is (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST/ JEE (Mains). For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants) If Candidate has 85 or more percentile in JEE (Mains), then LPU NEST is exempted. The course aims at enabling the student to Effectively build and communicate the solutions using learnings from basic mechanical engineering, basic sciences, mathematics and computational skills and tools. He should have the Ability to design using Design of Machine Elements theories and to create prototypes using relevant manufacturing technology. He should acquire Capability of building efficient energy conversion systems using basic understanding of Thermodynamics Heat transfer and Fluid Mechanics. He should Demonstrate the ability to propose cost effective optimized solutions using simulated environments of Computer aided design, computer aided manufacturing and computer aided engineering.
