Hey!!! I being the alumni of LPU, I would like to address as my brothers are also pursuing the same course in the university . Mechanical engineering is the study, design, development, construction, and testing of mechanical and thermal sensors and devices, including tools, engines, and machines. Mechanical engineering careers center on creating technologies to meet a wide range of human needs. The engineering stream at LPU itself has received an overall good rating from students and alumni. The School of Mechanical Engineering offers well engineered seamless courses for students at many different levels such as undergraduate, diploma/certificate, post-graduate and research based Ph.D. level courses, not only for Mechanical Engineering, but also for Automobile, Aerospace Engineering, Robotics and Mechatronics as well. The Mechanical Engineering department had the most ideal study environment since I have two friends from that stream. The labs and workspace at LPU School of Mechanical Engineering, was fully equipped with all the necessary machinery that was required for our wholesome learning. My brother has completed B.Tech Mechanical from Lovely Professional University,LPU is helping him grow professionally and personally with its career-oriented programs and support. The placements of LPU in B.Tech mechanical are not as good as CSE. But they provide a good placement as compared to other private college. The teachers of LPU is highly qualified. Infrastructure is good in LPU.

Dear Bharat, I would say, The engineering stream at LPU itself has received an overall good rating from students and alumni. The School of Mechanical Engineering offers well engineered seamless courses for students at many different levels such as undergraduate, Diploma/certificate, post-graduate and research based Ph.D. level courses, not only for Mechanical Engineering, but also for Automobile, Aerospace Engineering, Robotics and Mechatronics as well. I am saying this because my brother has completed B.Tech Mechanical from LPU, His experience at LPU was amazing, Currently he is working with XL Dynamics with decent package. The placement drives at LPU are highly efficient and successful, and I am saying this because one of my friend has done B.Tech (Mechanical) from LPU only and right now he is working with Volkswagon. LPU is good for Mechanical and automobile engineering. Good placements in core company as well as software company. Other than participating different events like go kart, project expo, entertainment events like one india, one world etc. Practical based learning and valuable guest lectures also. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. Zee News Survey rated us as 11th Best in India in Placements.
