The placements of LPU in B.Tech mechanical are not as good as CSE. But they provide a good placement as compared to other private college. The teachers of LPU is highly qualified. Infrastructure is good in LPU.

Dear Bharat, I would say, The engineering stream at LPU itself has received an overall good rating from students and alumni. The School of Mechanical Engineering offers well engineered seamless courses for students at many different levels such as undergraduate, Diploma/certificate, post-graduate and research based Ph.D. level courses, not only for Mechanical Engineering, but also for Automobile, Aerospace Engineering, Robotics and Mechatronics as well. I am saying this because my brother has completed B.Tech Mechanical from LPU, His experience at LPU was amazing, Currently he is working with XL Dynamics with decent package. The placement drives at LPU are highly efficient and successful, and I am saying this because one of my friend has done B.Tech (Mechanical) from LPU only and right now he is working with Volkswagon. LPU is good for Mechanical and automobile engineering. Good placements in core company as well as software company. Other than participating different events like go kart, project expo, entertainment events like one india, one world etc. Practical based learning and valuable guest lectures also. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. Zee News Survey rated us as 11th Best in India in Placements. Hey!!! I being the alumni of LPU, I would like to address as my brothers are also pursuing the same course in the university . Mechanical engineering is the study, design, development, construction, and testing of mechanical and thermal sensors and devices, including tools, engines, and machines. Mechanical engineering careers center on creating technologies to meet a wide range of human needs. The engineering stream at LPU itself has received an overall good rating from students and alumni. The School of Mechanical Engineering offers well engineered seamless courses for students at many different levels such as undergraduate, diploma/certificate, post-graduate and research based Ph.D. level courses, not only for Mechanical Engineering, but also for Automobile, Aerospace Engineering, Robotics and Mechatronics as well. The Mechanical Engineering department had the most ideal study environment since I have two friends from that stream. The labs and workspace at LPU School of Mechanical Engineering, was fully equipped with all the necessary machinery that was required for our wholesome learning. My brother has completed B.Tech Mechanical from Lovely Professional University,LPU is helping him grow professionally and personally with its career-oriented programs and support. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering: Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning) Quantitative Aptitude Skills Technical Aptitude Skills Presentations and Soft Skills Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc.) All a student has to do is to maintain a good academic record and personality to ensure his/her placement. Hello BHarat, Delhi Technological University, Delhi, and Lovely Professional University Phagwara. But after discussions, thinking, and recommendations from my relatives ( Allummni of LPU) I joined LPU. It was actually a great decision. As per my experience, LPU is the best place for engineering. I have not faced any kind of disappointment at any phase. LPU provides the beautiful infrastructure and all required resources to students and staff. I highly recommend that if you really want to make your career with a good level of education then you should go for LPU. My Decision for LPU was the best decision of my life. Mechanical Engineering Discipline is the among best Mechanical Engineering colleges in Punjab, India equipped with 40+ labs and modern machining to provide an extra edge to the existing curriculum which focuses on developing a strong basic knowledge. Unilab, the mechanical testing lab of LPU established under the School of Civil Engineering has been accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL).
