How is the residential facility of LPU?

Hello! Privacy, budget, location, and facilities all play a huge part in the way we choose our accommodation. While each of the different options has its benefits. We should also note that while every Hostel, the Apartment is different. Basically, the majority of the time you get what you pay for. LPU Hostels always provide reasonably good value for money. You also have the chance to meet a lot of other international students or students from 29 different states because Hostels are generally well known for being social. LPU residential Facilities are indeed exceptionally well organized and maintained. The hostel administration here is very cooperative and caring. Hostel residents are permitted to keep Electrical Kettles, Electrical Irons, Steamer, Laptop, mobile charger, shaving set, trimmer, hair straightener, and hairdryer. Basic essentials are already provided to students as per seater like table, chair, Almirah, etc. Apartments can feel like a home away from home when you are stepping outside your comfort zone. Having a homely base to come back to each day makes a huge difference to happiness. Kitchen facilities are given in apartments and allow students to cook with ingredients picked up from local markets. For apartment rooms with pantries, students may also use induction plates for cooking food in addition to gadgets mentioned for hostels. Apartments are costly in comparison to hostels as more facilities are given to apartment holders. I hope this helps. Thanks!

This is actually remembering my days in LPU as Hosteler. I had spent my 5 Years in LPU during my pursuance of Integrated B.Tech. MBA programme & believe me I really enjoyed each & every moment of my campus life. I never get bored & never feel alone in this happening University. It's like Home away from Home. Campus is completely safe & secured, 0% Ragging, 0% tolerance to any illegal substances. There are CCTV surveillance 24X7 from every corner. Lovely Professional University is having best options in terms of most safe & secured accommodation facilities. LPU hostels are having capacity to accommodate 20000+ students. I would like to mention some of the key features of Lovely Professional University Accommodation facility. 1) There are 3 Types of accommodation facilities are available in LPU like Apartment, Standard Rooms & Dormitories. 2) Rooms are like 1 seater as well as multiple shared rooms. As per the choice & budget student could book their room after taking admission. Facilities in Hostels: 24 Hrs. Security Services, 24 Hrs. CCTV Surveillance, 24 Hrs. Electricity Backup, 24 Hrs. Water Supply, 24 Hrs. Medical Service (Medicines and tests on Payment), 24 Hrs. Staff Assistance, separate Study Room, TV Room, Mess Services (On Payment), Laundry Services (On Payment), Departmental Store (On Payment), Cafeteria (On Payment), Saloon (On Payment), Printing and copier Shops in all hostels (On Payment), Lift Facility, Fire Fighting System, Purified Water Facility etc. There are both Veg & Non-Veg mess facility available in Lovely Professional University. The University offers excellent living accommodation within the campus, separately for boys and Girls. The university understand expectations of students who come here from wide variety of cultural and geographical zones and perhaps leave their homes for the first time in their lives. The university ensures making this transition smooth and comfortable. The university has a wide range of options that. Meets the needs of all students. There are rooms ranging from Standard Rooms to Apartments and students can opt for accommodation as per their convenience and choice. The hostels at LPU are basically of two types: 1. Standard Rooms: Standard Rooms at LPU hostels are arrangements like lodges where students can live in a shared 4/ 3/ 2/ 1-seater room with the option of having the room Air Cooled or Air-Conditioned Ventilation. The following amenities are provided to students of these rooms. Iron B.Ed Plastic Chair Study Table Almirah Geyser AC/Air Cooler (As Applicable) 2. Apartments: The apartment accommodation at LPU are 1/ 2/ 3/ 4 rooms with attached washrooms. There are facilities constructed for providing luxurious accommodation. This makes me remind of my hostel days which are still near to my heart at LPU. There are various categories of hostels like 3,2 or 1 seater. The basic facilities include (a) Air Conditioner/Air cooler in each room, (b) Attached washroom in each room with Geyser (c) B.Ed (d) Study Table, (e) Chair, (f) Partitioned Almirah The residential faculty & staff provide after-hours guidance and support to the students, in case they need any academic or life advice. Sports facility is being introduced with membership of 3 different packages of games:SwimmingShootingSquash, Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball and Combative sports. Students can join all these memberships on a yearly basis. The campus has a 24 hours 30 B.Ed hospital which is staffed with resident medical officers, medical lab, dieticians and physiotherapists. In house laundry services are available at a nominal charges to students. Keeping student's requirements in mind, University offers quality residence (offering above average necessities) for their living comforts. Become independent! Students residing in the campus can earn while studying by taking up part time jobs in labs, library, sales, shopping mall etc. Become independent! Hi Sameeksha, One of my friends is working at LPU and staying in the LPU apartments with his family. I do not know exactly the residential facility but I have visited him many times and will discuss my experience. Being alumni I would say the residential facilities at LPU is the best. And their hostels are the largest in the country. As it is one of a kind, growing not only in its infrastructure but also in the facilities, placement packages and is becoming an aspiring institution, setting the paradigm for other upcoming institutions. LPU has achieved many awards for placement, campus, and even for the best private university. All the facilities and services are the same in all the rooms. The Residential has the following Facilities in all the rooms: A separate residential facility for boys and girls within the campus. Rooms with attached washroom (except in certain dormitory rooms), B.Ed (without mattress), table, chair, and almirahs. Air cooler / Air Conditioner facility in each room (as opted). Arrangement for power supply through dedicated 24 hours hotlines. Geyser in each room to provide hot water in winters (scheduled timings) for two hours per room every day or as decided by the University. In campus Hospital with an ambulance to provide medical assistance to students. Internet connectivity through Wi-Fi system for scheduled timing for academic purposes only and subject to conditions. Power backup for light load only (not for AC/ Geyser/ Air cooler). Mess facility with vegetarian meals only. Parking two-wheeler/car facility at designated places only. Gymnasium (optional on payment basis). Students in residential facilities are permitted to keep Electrical Kettles, Electrical Irons, Steamer, Laptop, Mobile Charger, Shaving Set, Trimmer, Hair Straightener, and Hair Dryer. Yes, you will get complimentary electricity units free with a seat per session but the extra units if users have to pay the student who is staying in that room. Hi there, LPU besides offering quality education also provides residential facility to its students as well as staff and that too in-campus hostel facility. Well, being a hostler at LPU from last 4 years, I am highly satisfied with my hostel life. To my perception, hostels at LPU are best, be it in infrastructure, hygiene, or safety. Everything is so nice, even the wardens, they are much like family. One can stay in any kind of room depending upon his/her own choice, it has apartments, AC rooms, cooler rooms. The electricity facility is 24 hrs without any intervention. To the best of my experience, I must say that if one gets admission in LPU, must stay in hostels. One more nice thing about LPU hostels is that one can go and study in library till 12 am, everything is handled by hostel staff. I mean they take and get students back along with security members, so its totally amazing to stay in hostel. Be it food, one may or may not avail the mess facility, it is totally dependent on students. The food quality is nice, and they provide four meals per day. LPU hostel life is the best. Similarly, LPUs infrastructure is one of the biggest and best in the world. The campus of LPU is surrounded by trees and gardens that make teaching and learning environment more comfortable. The pollution-free and healthy environment at LPU campus is other major highlights of the campus. In LPU, the key points of hostel facilities are1. CCTV based security in both boys and girls hostel. 2. A dedicated team of warden and workers who are available in the hostel for 24 hours in shifts to provide facilities to students. 3.
