There are generally three types of front offices in the hospitality industry: Reception or Front Desk: The executive directly responsible for guest registration and enquires. Concierge: It is mainly concerned with accommodation bookings, guests' activities and any other request the guest may have. Reservation Desk: Responsible for the pro-processing of room bookings & reservations done generally by walk in clients or via the internet. All these front offices are equally important in addressing the guest relation issues and in order to make the hotel function properly.
