MCA has a wide variety of applications, and it's scope in India is also really good, because India is moving towards development in IT sector, and Indian IT industry prefer B.Tech CSE and MCA for application development and maintenance roles. So, it's a good choice as IT companies hunt for MCA certificate holders with appropriate skills needed.

Only BCA would be less beneficial but BCA+MCA will get you to the peak of your stream and no doubt, you will find very high scope.
