I am confused in deciding lpu jalandhar and srm chennai for B.Tech cse honours which is good among both

In CSE honors you are supposed to pay 10,000 INR extra per semester. If you are getting admission in Chennai then it is the best option, otherwise go for LPU. But keep in mind that the tuition fees of SRM is higher than that of LPU.

Hi Let me clear you first that placement and package depends upon your hard work. A college/university can provide you the best possible opportunities but thereafter everything will be decided on the basis of your performance. However, in comparison between these two Thapar is a clear winner, as it is an established institution with great career opportunities and better facilities. Thapar has tie ups with really good brands like Microsoft IDC, Hindustan Unilever Ltd, KPMG India, Infosys Technologies, Reliance Industries Ltd. , Texas Instruments India, Wipro Technologies, Royal Enfield, Philips India etc. Which can offer you a decent package. I have few friends at LPU as per them it has tie ups with some good brands but not as good as Thapar. Recently 2 students from Thapar bagged Rs. 8 Lacs annual package. Therefore my suggestion to you is go for Thapar and hurry before you miss this opportunity as the admissions are on. And simultaneously focus on your hard work as it is going to pay you in future. SRM Chennai is better than LPUm It has great collaboration with various companies and thus provide ample amount of placements and a considerable facilitating campus to study in. It has a good image for btech branch.

SRM is far better than LPU in terms of core branches. To get admission in SRM you have to appear in entrance exam SRMJEE but in case of LPU, you will directly get admission without any entrance exam. The faculty members of SRM is very good and supportive and the placement is excellent. Many international students are studying in SRM, you can enhance your communication skills. Choose SRM University if you want placement and good students to compete as everyone is admitted there after qualifying in SRMJEE but if you want big campus and if want to enjoy your undergrad life then choose LPU.

CSE dept. Of LPU is having the highest number of students under a single dept. Being an alumni of LPU I had many friends from CSE and I used to SEE them wearing formal dress almost every day because their placement drives would happen every day in their final year. Most of the students get offers in their third year itself. The placement record of CSE from LPU is phenomenal. Every year LPU breaks its own record in terms of placements. Many giants like Amazon, Interviewbit have offered packages of around 26LPA to LPU students from CSE. VMWARE, Jugnoo, Pegasystems have offered packages of 9LPA to students, many other companies like Wipro, Capgemini, Bosch have offered packages of 6 LPA and the list is endless. The CSE dept. I would suggest to go with LPU. My reason being the placement and also the curriculum. With around 600 companies here for placements every here, it is kind of an undeniable fact that placement here is very good. Also, the curriculum here is such that it helps the students to a very great extent. Especially in B.Tech CSE Honours. One of my friend is doing the same degree here and he said that they were learning things like Blender, etc. From their 1st year itself. Apart from placement and curriculum, other factors like campus life, infrastructure, exposure are all very good here.
