I am pursuing my class 12th from AMU Boards and I want to complete my Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from NUS. What should I do?

<p>According to programme criteria, NUS requires overseas students to take the GMAT or GRE as well as IELTS or TOEFL if they are not native English speakers. Indian students may apply by sending their GATE results as well. All students must also submit their SOPs and recommendations.The applicant must have completed high school with a minimum cumulative score of 50% in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.</p><p>Candidates with an AMU engineering Diploma and at least 50% overall can also apply.</p><p>You are ineligible since English wasn't one of your subjects.</p>

<p>Yes, you are correct to be worried. When I went to study EE, myself and many of my classmates were also shocked by the amount of mathematics we had to go through (mostly, the first two years). For most of us, EE was soldering circuits others had designed (making your own audio amplifier was very popular at that time.) However, studying EE requires a lot of math (and some physics) before you reach the fun parts: designing circuits and programming. On the other hand, when you go to school, you will also realize that EE is way far more than doing simple DIY projects, all set up and ready to go by others. EE covers a variety of diverse subjects like: power electronics, semiconductors, telecommunications, image and signal processing, computer architecture, etc., to name a few. The goal of school is to teach you the foundations of all these, before you go to the specifics - say designing your own robot - and that requires math; so hopefully this will not discourage you to study electrical engineering.</p>

Hi, After class 12th, you can check the eligibility and if you fulfill the requirements then you apply you also check the entrance exam requirements most the university accept the entrance exam. A minimum of 50% in class 10th is required to be eligible for Diploma courses in Electrical Engineering. After passing the abovementioned admission exams, such as JEE Mains and advanced, you may choose to pursue a B.Tech in electrical engineering followed by a master's degree.
