If you belongs to ST or SC category then there will be chances of getting any lower NIT like Patna, Silchar or Srinagar.

You are eligible for admission to NIT as the mandatory percentage for SC/ST category is 65%. But getting an NIT depends on your rank. So, see last year cut-offs of all NITs and check if you can get one. Chances are low to get an NIT because of your low scores in JEE. You can get other good private colleges. Do a research for colleges and their cut-offs and see which college you can get? For further queries, feel free to post comments. Good luck!

You should have mentioned your all India rank to get a better idea. NIT seems a bit difficult target but I am sure you'll be able to get some good state level college.

You can try for JOSA Counseling, and according to me, I think you can get NIIT (J&K) for sure. Or, may be another NIIT, but you have to compromise with the branch, and if you have still not decided your branch you can go for it.

No. You didn't get admission because you didn't fullfill the eligibility criteria.
