I got 55 marks in JEE Mains and 73% in CBSE board. Can I get any NIT?

    Hi,
    As you belong to reserved category, you can expect a NIIT or IIIT. You can wait for the JoSSA counselling and hope for the best.

    No, you can't. But, if you belong to SC or ST category, then you will have a chance.

    No, you need minimum 280 marks in JEE Mains and 90% in 12th to book a seat in NITs.

    Getting into NIT with that score is not possible if you belong to general category. You could get admission in state colleges or some private college through their respective entrance exams. Like WBJEE, OJEE, COMEDK and other state exams. Try your luck, but first work hard.

    Sorry to say but it is difficult to get admission in NITs but you can compete in other engeneering exams like
    COMEDK, DTU and Chandigarh University.
