    Medical Electronics is a specialized discipline, which integrates engineering with Biomedical Sciences and Clinical Practice. Medical Electronics engineers develop imaging devices such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and procedures that solve medical and health-related problems such as automating insulin injections or controlling body functions. This field seeks to close the gap between engineering and medicine. The discipline is a combination of design and problem solving skill.
