It is not a problem. Even now, you can give the LPU-NEST exam and can get admission there.

LPU is a private run University, so you can definitely pull some strings by contacting the university authorities to get admission there. Furthermore you can pester them to allow you to apply for LPU-NEST and sit for the exam. All the best.

You can get admission in LPU. The minimum percentage required is 60% and your percentage is more than that. You will not get the scholarship.

The eligibility criteria for CSE at LPU is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics) + LPU NEST /JEE Mains. So, you will have to appear for LPU NEST or JEE for eligibility and scholarship purpose. All the best.

You can still get admission in LPU on the bases of class 12th percentage, but you may not able to get any scholarship, which you would have gained by scoring good marks in LPU-NEST so give LPU-NEST, if you want some scholarship to study in LPU or pay the high tuition fees I hope it helped you.

You have done class 12th with 77% that's good.
But, you have not mention the subject.
So, you want to do B.Tech in Lovely Professional University, as the branch computer you have not applied for JEE Mains ; so there is not a big issue you can take direct admission in that college.

Hi...

I need to clarify first: are you asking about admission to Chandigarh University for B.Tech/B.E, or admission to a medical/paramedical course (like B.Sc Nursing, MBBS, BPT, etc.)

The marks required and exam rules differ a lot depending on the stream.

Chandigarh University follows a holistic admission approach, giving importance to both Class 12 performance and JEE Main scores, depending on the route chosen. For JEE-qualified students, the JEE score primarily determines merit-based scholarships and priority counseling, while Class 12 marks ensure eligibility verification. For students not appearing in JEE, Class 12 performance, particularly in PCM subjects, becomes the primary eligibility criterion, alongside CUCET scores for CSE programs. This dual-focus system allows students with strong 12th marks but no JEE score to secure admission, while rewarding JEE participants with merit a

Yes, for B.E. admission at Chandigarh University, students must meet the basic eligibility criteria of Class 12, irrespective of their JEE score. Generally, candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one additional relevant subject. The minimum percentage requirement is as per regulatory norms and may vary slightly by program, but JEE scores alone do not override academic eligibility. Even for students applying with JEE Main 2026 ranks for scholarship consideration, meeting the 12th standard eligibility is mandatory. CU maintains this balance to ensure academic readiness while kee
