Well, your percentage is well good, but for taking admissions in LPU, you have to give LPU-NEST (National entrance and scholarship test). For fulfilling their admissions norms, kindly appear for the test and clear it. Moreover, it can give you maximum scholarship benefits too up to INR. 5 Lacs.

No, problem you can still give their test which is LPU-NEST, and if you fail to give this test also then no problem you will still get admission in it. If you will visit the campus and you pay the fees, then it will be too easy for you to get the admission the only thing that you will not get is the scholarship.

You are eligible for admission in LPU but without appearing in JEE Mains and LPU-NEST you are not eligible for a good scholarship provided by the institute. So, it would be costly but if you can afford that much fee then you can take admission directly.

You can get admission on the basis of class 12th result as it is above 60% but scholarship won't be applicable as for that, you need to take LPU-NEST.
  • Dear Student,
You can apply for LPU-NEST as registrations have already been started.

    Hi,
You can apply now for the LPU NEST. Due to the current situation I. e. COVID-19, the eligibility criteria is bit relaxed and the admissions are being done online. LPU NEST will be exempted in case student has scored more than or equal to 90 percentile in JEE Mains or 90% aggregate marks in 10+2. Moreover, LPU offers different types of scholarships on the basis of marks in either of the last two qualifications, LPU NEST. Sports, Defence, COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship, and

A gap of 1 to 2 years after 12th can be considered normal. Although the students should be able to address it via the valid documents. The reasons like health, finance, skill development or family are accepted.

And if the gap after the high school Diploma is beyond 2 years, strong documentation is required to justify the same. The documents like which shows productivity for which an SOP can serve great purposes.

Yes, it should not be hard for you to get admission to the University of Western Australia as an Indian student with 50% in class 12th. However, please note that it does not put you in the top applicants either. The general admission percentage requirement for international students is 50 to 65%.

Look at the other admission requirements -

  • English proficiency tests with IELTS (bands 6.5) or TOEFL iBT (82+)
  • High school Diploma from a recognised board like CBSE or ICSE etc.
  • Some course-specific subjects for Engineering programs

Top universities require a minimum of 80-90% in your 12th-grade board exams.

  • Average universities often accept students with 60-75%.
  • For highly competitive courses like Medicine, cut off is usually higher.
  • Strong SAT/ACT scores can also compensate for a slightly lower board percentage.

Countries like Germany and Norway are excellent options. Because public universities there charge little to no tuition fees.  The cost of living and education is significantly lower compared to the USA or UK. You must factor in living expenses and language requirements.
