I have scored 77% in 12th, now I want to do B.Tech CSE from LPU but I have not applied for JEE Mains and LPU-NEST.

Hi there, LPU conducts its own admission test, LPU NEST. You can appear in this exam and get admission on the basis of your performance in this test. I will guide you through the admission procedure so that you won't face any hassle. You can follow the steps to proceed: Step 1- Sign Up Register on the LPUs admission portal with your basic details. You will receive mail once you have successfully registered. Login to the LPUs admission portal with an already created username and password. Step 2- Application for Admission Fill out the application form and submit it. Select your programme from the list. Make a partial payment of Rs. 10,000/- (Application fee, I. e., Rs. 500; Rest under the programme fee of the first semester). Upload the documents for verification. Pay the balance fee within the time frame as set by LPU. In case you would like to appear for LPU NEST for scholarship purposes, you may proceed with depositing the test fee later on.

To be admitted to LPU's B.Tech CSE programme, you must first meet the eligibility and admission requirements. Pass with 60 percent aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics, and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or JEE Mains, according to the B.Tech CSE eligibility criteria (qualifying exam). If a candidate has not studied English as a subject, the prerequisite of English may be waived if the candidate has studied in English medium throughout his qualifying test. *Northeast states and Sikkim candidates/Defense Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants would receive a 5% exemption in eligibility. ) *Exceptional athletes receive a 10% discount (I. e. A/A+ category as defined by the Sports Scholarship), subject to certification by the University's Selection Committee*. Note: If an application falls under both categories, only one eligibility relaxation will be granted. Yes, as far as I know, LPU is very particular about this thing, it is compulsory to pass the LPU NEST exam and especially for the B.Tech. (Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) eligibility is to Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST your marks is good for B.Tech CSE but you have to clear LPU NEST test it not only help you getting admission in LPU but also give you the opportunity to avail Scholarship. Hi Jay Rajput, LPU NEST is must to qualify in this case. DO not worry, you can apply now as well. Registrations are open. There is no negative marking in it, so you can qualify it if you will go after preparation. I hope it helps!

The eligibility criteria is 60% in 10+2 with English Physics &amp; Mathematics)+ LPU NEST /JEE Mains. If you have not applied for LPU NEST u can still apply before 23rd February.

It would be a wise decision to choose LPU since, in the current climate, this is the university that caters to the all-round growth of its students and develops them with care in order to propel their careers to a pinnacle of ultimate success that many would envy. You must first apply for admission before booking your LPU NEST. The syllabus and paper pattern are available on the LPU website. Because of the country's dire situation owing to covid, LPU NEST is being conducted in an online proctored method. This may result in a higher scholarship scale. Open the college's website by clicking the link. Select Admissions and then the stream to which you wish to apply. Check the scholarships also by visiting the website.

Hi dear, Well, LPU have their own eligibility criteria to be fulfilled for getting admission in LPU. To the best of my experience, as far as I know to get admission in B.Tech one needs the minimum of 60% (aggregate) in 10+2 plus the LPU NEST is compulsarily to be qualified. LPU NEST is not just to meet the eligibility criteria but to avail the scholarship too. Besides that, if a student has good percentage in 10+2, then the scholarship is given on that basis also but the best out of two LPU NEST performance or percentage in 10+2) is chosen.
