I'm M.Sc student but now interested in doing fashion designing, is it good for me or not?

NIFT Delhi is one of the famous institutions in India for Bachelor's in design courses. Moreover, the Shiksha rating allocated to the course by the students and alumni of NIFTD is 4.6 out of 5. On the other hand, NIFD Global is a well-known institute for the BDes course in Indore, and it has secured a rating of 4.3 out of 5. 
The best institution among these two is NIFT Delhi. However, getting admission into the BDes course in NIFT Delhi is highly competitive. Unlikely, getting admission to BDes at  NIFD Global Indore is not so competitive. 

For the students belonging to the General AI quota, the NIFT Delhi cutoff 2025 ranged between 19 and 967 across various UG and PG courses. For B.Des, the Round 3 cutoff ranks were in the range of 92 and 967, wherein B.Des. in Fashion Design was the highly sought-after specialisation for admission. NIFT Delhi cutoff 2025 has been announced for admission across multiple specialisations for the Round 1 seat allotment results. In NIFT 2025, the closing rank for the candidates belonging to General All India quota stood between 15 and 800. The competition remains intense due to limited seats for Master of Fashion Technology (M.FTech) and Master of Design (M.Des.). The Round 1 for the aforementioned courses stood at 15 and 24, respectively.

In addition, the overall cutoff rank for the OBC AI category quota ranged between 29 and 2703 as per the Round 1 seat allotment results.

With an EWS category rank of 69, you have a very strong chance of getting into NIFT Delhi for most B.Des. courses, and even some Master's programs, especially compared to the closing ranks for the EWS category in previous years.

For example, for B.Des. Fashion Design, which is highly competitive, the EWS closing rank was generally in the range of 400-500. Your rank of 69 is well within this range.

Even for BFTech Apparel Production, your rank is excellent.

The aspirants who are Class 12 or equivalent exam pass can apply for the BDes course of NIFT Delhi. Additionally, students should not exceed 24 yers of age (29 years for SC/ ST/ PWD category students) as of August 1 of the admission year.
