I want to do Mechatronics Engineering I know that Physics, Maths and Technology is required. BUT is Chemistry also needed in Mechatronics.

While Chemistry may be helpful in some aspects of Mechatronics Engineering, it is not typically a required subject for this field. Mechatronics Engineering is a multidisciplinary field that combines mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering with control systems and robotics. Mathematics and Physics are crucial for understanding the fundamental principles of mechanics, dynamics, and control systems that underpin Mechatronics Engineering. Computer Science is also important for programming and controlling mechatronic systems. Hence, you can check as per your capabilities and apply for the course.

A basic understanding of Maths and Physics would help a you a great deal when your going for your mechatronics degree. Getting familiar with the equations of motion and other topics in high school Physics will definitely help you when it comes to building autonomous UGV and UAV, depending on which University you'll be enrolling in. Besides that, most, if not all, high schools teach basic electronics (circuit components and design, energy, power, etc. ). In their Physics syllabus, so that should set you up pretty nicely for first-year Electronics courses. Some Unis also offer mechanical engineering courses like fluid mechanics and solid mechanics as part of their mechatronics degree, so a little bit of Physics won't hurt there. Maths in general (preferably advanced mathematics, if your school offers that in your programme) will help you throughout your degree programme as most universities will require you to enrol in engineering-specific maths courses, like numerical methods, calculus, and statistics in order for you to complete your programme. These courses are usually offered in the first and second years and will be beneficial later in your degree (or job). Learning basic programming languages like Python and C while your in high school will definitely be advantageous as mechatronics programs will require you to do at least two programming courses (I did six core programming courses, and a lot of the other courses required a little bit of programming skills too!). If you choose to specialise in robotics or process automation in your final year, you'll definitely need these skills. A few of my colleagues chose to specialise in networks and cyber security so they without a doubt needed to be super proficient in computer programming. Out of all these I just mentioned, I wish I had more exposure to computer programming prior to enrolling in university in Mechatronic engineering. I wouldve gotten better marks for most of the courses Ive enrolled in XD thanks and all the best.
