In the situation of Covid-19, LPU has relaxed their eligibility norms so for B.Tech the eligibility criteria is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or In case student scored more than or equal to 90% in 10+2, or 90 percentile in JEE Mains, then LPU NEST will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission. Hello, LPU NEST is not compulsory for admission for most of the courses. You can apply for admission after your Class 12th. You will be glad to know that LPU has relaxed their eligibility criteria for most of the programs due to COVID-19, and has exempted LPU NEST. If the eligibility criteria for the particular programme is determined by LPU NEST qualification, then qualifying the exam is mandatory. Moreover there are various programmes in LPU where you can take direct admission e. g BBA BCA B.Com etc. Whereas for other programs qualifying LPU NEST is prime requisite.

The Lovely Professional University gives direct admission to the students scoring equal to or more than 85 percent in JEE Mains. It will depend upon the course you choose. If you choose courses like BBA BCA B.Com then you can take direct admission. There isn't any need to appear in entrance exam but LPU NEST is also a scholarship test if you need scholarship then you can appear in LPU NEST on the other hand if you are interested in courses like, B.Tech, MBA, B.Arch then in these cases you need to appear in LPU NEST and then only you will be eligible for this university.
